Strange New Worlds is filming between February 01 2021 - July 02 2021. That is not enough time for two seasons. Also, Anson Mount has repeatedly said he thought Discovery's schedule was too long for him. He didn't want to be away from home that long. So filming two seasons back to back wouldn't make sense at all.
And yes, you now say Discovery seasons 4 and 5 will not be filming back to back, my point is: you said otherwise before. So why should we believe your other claims now, when you can change them in three or four months from now...
Those dates are just for one season. Mount saying he doesn't like long schedules isn't exactly proof of them not filming seasons back to back. It just means Mount doesn't like long schedules.
Except I backtracked because CBS backtracked. If you think these corporations are planning to change all their current plans then sure, yeah, don't believe me.
We'll see what happens. I don't think Picard and Strange New Worlds will film seasons back to back, you think they will. We'll see who is right and who is wrong later this year... BTW I hope they will film back to back!
Not terrified (why?! XD), but simply annoyed with the Doomcocks and Midnight Edges that flood the fandom with BS rumors. When 99% of all rumors are obviously false all the time, there's no reason to trust another one.
That's understandable but I'm not like Doomcock or Midnight's Edge. Most of what I've been saying really isn't that crazy or far-fetched like their fake scoops, and I'm not trying to push a shitty alt-right agenda by saying Star Trek is canceled or whatever like they do. Actually, I think my only "negative" Star Trek leak has been the Lower Decks distribution rights situation I wrote about in an article. That's it.
Also, I'm a known scooper. Clearly not well known (or well liked?) in the Star Trek community but outside of that I am. I have tons of confirmed scoops that I would be happy to link, but they're not Star Trek scoops so I don't know if you guys really care.

I don't understand what that "privilege not right" business in your previous post is about, though. I literally wanted to talk to Star Trek fans and made an account. This forum isn't some holy place you can only access it you're worthy or something. No offense but it's nothing more than a Star Trek forum lol (at least, I think so. I asked if that's the case and my question kind of got ignored...) Not that that's bad, but it certainly isn't whatever you're trying to make it out to be.

I never expected deference and I never said anything about being a member of a Star Trek forum allowing you to insult people. I've made that pretty clear too.
Speaking for myself, I only mentioned that people here tend not to believe other people who say they have inside information without proof. In your response to me you then immediately proceeded to accuse this BBS of being 'terrified of leaks' like we're a bunch of immature children who can't handle your precious knowledge. That attitude doesn't particularly endear yourself to us.
For what it's worth, I wasn't only talking about this forum and I wasn't only talking about my leaks. "Terrified" might've been an exaggeration but I still believe that the Star Trek community hates/distrusts leaks more than other communities on average.

Which could mean that other fandoms are simply too credulous, not that we're too skeptical.
I guess it's more of a perspective thing.
I am highly suspicious of people who claim insider information because there zero way to confirm it to my mind, since online identities are difficult to verify. Perhaps that is irrational, but is nothing to do with fear of the fandom menace because they'll blather on about whatever they want, leaks or no leaks.
I find the whole rumor/leak mill to be a source of random speculation that lacks anything substantive for discussion.
I can't speak for the rest of community but for my part I just find the whole "I know things" to be odd, to say the least.
