Rios collects weapons ... and Seven of Nine walked away with two of them!

    How badass is THAT? :adore:

The funniest thing about that was that she asked Picard's permission to take them - and he gave it, as if he'd forgotten that this isn't his ship and those aren't his weapons to give! I kinda hope Rios noticed the theft and called him out on it later - and I also kinda hope Rios came right out and told him what Seven was going to use those weapons for, because I'm not sure Picard was willing to acknowledge that to himself, even inwardly, but Rios would know instantly.

..Might be jean-Luc brought the modern guns with him, or Raffi did, for mission purposes. I mean, no, Rios isn't necessarily limiting himself to collecting antiques - but the guns he involuntarily parts with do look pretty generic.

I wonder what form of payment Rios will accept?

Sidebar: I think Picard knew exactly what Seven/Annika was going to do with that hardware.

Back on topic: I covet that map on the helm(?) console.

Not only does Rios know, he secretly helps her do it.
...After convincing her to stop, as a trade for Madoxx, and until Picard and all his crew are safe on board.
Rios then intentionally sneaks her the means to let her go back and do it.....!
So yeah he would have been fine with her taking the weapons.

Probably. :D But I still want him to point out to Picard that it isn't polite to come aboard another man's spaceship and give away his stuff without asking! (He's a bit too starstruck for that, however)

I think we can all agree they should have just had Rios be the Outrageous Okono with a new actor.

The Outrageous Okona was terrific, but I'd rather see Santiago Cabrera's own version of the same character type, as the potentially yet revealed Emergency Armed-Security Hologram "Aramis" show up.
Make him the over-the-top dashing, romanticized, loyal, swashbuckling, Musketeer type! Based on Santiago Cabrera's own Aramis,
Security Hologram has to show up eventually. And he can bond (and holdec train also with Picard) with the sword wielding Elnor, who we know reads Picards' gift of the Three Musketeers.
We also know Rios collects weapons, so ( ESHu Hologram) can have phasers designed to look like vintage pistols, and even give him a swashbuckling sword.

Y'know, Picard fences...maybe he could whip out such a hologram to practice with.

Yep, suggested it way back in the Rios thread- https://www.trekbbs.com/threads/santiago-cabrera-as-captain-cristóbal-chris-rios.302939/page-10#post-13314366

Even that they could do a Holo-Musketeers adventure.
With Picard (outagous french accent as Athos),
    Rios (as Aramis),
    Raffi (reluctantly as Porthos)
and Elnor gets to live out his boyhood fantasy as the young novice joining the group as D'Artagnan.

What's great is Picard shared the novel to young Elnor.
Wish we had confirmed it among Elnor's possessions when he came on board.
    How wonderful would it be if during an inevitable down-time moment ;
    - Elnor is perusing the novel, and playfully looks up at Rios, who asks; What is it kid!?
Elnor: - You know, you'd make a great Aramis!
    - Cut to Holodeck: Dressed as the Three Musketeers:
Picard (outagous french accent as Athos),
    Rios (as Aramis),
    Raffi (reluctantly as Porthos)
and Elnor gets to live out his boyhood fantasy as D'Artagnan.:)

Well yeah, although you're kind of missing the whole point of the idea of the character and post you are quoting, all the RiosEHs jobs have somewhat now been filled by one- to-one analogues real crew members of La Sirena.
That 's the point, it was part of the main through-story of the entire first season, and part of Rios' arc, (who had split aspects of his personality into EHs) he the loner and La Sirena, to end the season with an all "real" crew now filling in for his EH crew,

In doing a fun somewhat analogues one-to-one of that new crew, if they were to ever partner them; there are 6 new crew members, yet only 5 EH we met.
Security didn't really get one - hence I'm suggesting an (as yet to be seen) analogues Rios swashbuckling EH character to fill the security role.
That you're instead suggesting it should be Seven kind of misses the whole point of the idea of the character implicitly being an EH, in the post you are quoting.

The whole point is he'd exist so Elnor (or Anika) have their own analogues displaced EH too.
Above was Just a suggestion on how he could be introduced and used, that's the point.
Rios has 5 Emergency Hologram Crew characters
    [IMG]
by end Rios has 6 Actual Crew members.

So to make it all one to one analogues, we need one more EH, we haven't met
that would be the as suggested Emergency Armed-Security Hologram we have not met: The swashbuckling Rios as ("Aramis"),

Good day Mondragon. Have you or anyone else been able to find any more shots of the interior of the ship? In trying to model it I can't help but get that "Tardis" feeling; the ship and all its stuff is too big to fit into the modeled shell as apposed to the filming sets. Has anyone come across artwork, sketches, anything that shows where everything is "supposed" to go?
It would help as I'm guessing and conjecturing what the inside might look like right now.

There's a blog on tumblr where someone is looking at different parts of La Sirena. I think they mentioned the thing about Raffi's and Rios's quarters sharing some space.
It doesn't update that frequently and it doesn't look at the technical aspects, but might have some interesting insights? I think they also posted the floor plans at some point.

But I agree, the interior of the ship seems too large to fit into the model. At least the crew quarters seem to extend too far to the front and would conflict with the indentations in the wings (what are those, anyway? Deflectors?).

    Good day.
I came across the site cap-that.com with screen captures from Picard. I pulled some images from the site to get more detail of the ship to help in modelling it. Here are some examples:
    Bottom view

Inside looking at the warp core

    Rear view.
Now the rear of the ship is just a mess and makes me wonder what the designers were thinking? Was the geometry added to just add it or to actually serve a purpose? The various thrusters, I counted 12, look to be added/bolted on? At the bottom there seems to be a cargo door with two large blocks of structure above it, but what do they do? My initial workup on the ship gave me this:
Clean, with the tapered tail structure giving the rear of the ship a nice look. But with the thrusters and added structure I have this:
If Rios was making his living running cargo, where was he putting the cargo? It's gotten me thinking that he was operating more outside accepted commercial cargo laws. Has there been more details released regarding Rios' history with La Sirena? Or details regarding the history of the ship itself?

So the rear Strakes looks like aft mounted Warp Nacelles with clear line of sight.
That looks good to me in terms of design rules.

The aft Impulse deck being split into 6x different shaped rear exhaust nozzles looks hideous.
And WHY make the Impulse Exhaust color the same as the Warp Nacelle Field Grilles???

That's confusing as all eff to the viewer at home.

Please make them different colors, even drastically different shades of the same parent color would help ALOT.

Those damn designers of this ship, can't get basic color ID done correctly.
