You had more toy tie-ins in the 1990s.
    I miss that decade

What I wouldn't give for some sets/consoles for the larger Diamond Select Next Generation collection (too bad they stopped at the captain's chair).

I'd love a ready room and turbolift to add to the TNG bridge playset! Shame these things sell out so quickly.

Someone asked about this and the answer was that eventually they intend to go back to the 7" scale, we just need to be patient.

I can only recommend staying informed via the Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/TripleFict...kW5B1GG6ZYApNykbWF0oxhIhwYKh8b958Tmff_OFBnhn4

When new stuff is uploaded, the exact date and time now always gets announced two days in advance so everyone can prepare. I said I can't rely on an e-mail alert as I can't constantly check my e-mail during a workday, and I was listened to.

I don't know about TNG, but the Intrepid bridge seats took 45 minutes to sell out, so I needn't had fretted sitting there at 8 PM at the dot. The helm console is still available since yesterday evening.

I don't really use Facebook but will have a look, thanks.

Actually the think I'd really like is a Quark's bar set, similar to the Ten Forward they did, to display the DS9 gang.

The last post on the Twitter page is from April so I wouldn't rely on that.

Thanks for the advice! I finally finished work on him today. I wanted him to be screen accurate so didn’t roll up the sleeves, as O’Brien didn’t in his new uniform. The head is from a series 1 DS9 O’Brien figure, the torso from a movie uniform Riker figure and the arms and legs from a Tom Paris figure so he had the right height. I then painted the polo neck and collars yellow. I didn’t fancy my chances painting his rank insignia (which would have been far too fiddly), so I found the symbol online, reduced it to scale and printed it on adhesive paper. I’m quite pleased with the result! I hope all you guys approve too.

That's fantastic, the rank insignia worked perfectly!

I'm in awe of all the talent I so often see in these types of threads. And the results are so much fun!

Looks amazing! Could I ask what paint you used for the yellow collar and cuffs?

Without going through the entire thread I want to ask, has there been any talk about Micro Machines here?

I don't even remember when I handled them, I think I have.... from TNG and DS9 era.
    Enterprise-D, shuttle and runabout
    Romulan Warbird
    Romulan scout ship
    Klingon Vor'cha attack cruiser
    Ferengi Marauder
    Cardassian Galor class ship
    Borg cube
    DS9 station
    Enterprise-C

Those are the ones I remember right now, there could be more.
And it was the 90s so obviously there are Star Wars ships too, sorry. :)

Late 90s.... I had a set in my hand from 'Generations', Enterprise-D with saucer separation, Enterprise-B and Klingon Birf-of-Prey, why didn't I buy it.... why. Probably out of money.

I have a whole basket full of them in a bottom drawer of my desk that rarely opens to see the light of day, haha. I really need to change that with some of the stuff I own...

Thank you very much, that’s very kind :adore:

Sure - it’s a Citadel base paint I got from a model shop and the colour is ‘averland sunset’.

I had/have all of the micro machines, including doubles and even triples of some...all but the Enterprise E.

It was only available in a super rare super pack that I clearly remember passing on at a TRU back in the day.

I regret it now because that same set goes upwards of 250$ on eBay.

I got most of mine in the big collector's set that had the Enterprise-A. I loved that thing. I've still got it knocking around somewhere.
