RAMA
I just noticed in this episode that the blueshirts wear white shoes/boots and everybody else wears standard black. This is probably way too much of a stretch but my first thoughts were of in TNGs Birthright where Alexander Siddig walks off camera and you can accidentally see his (not costume accurate) white shoes.
You know, that's the "reference" I think they're going for too but, damn, that's a small and tight one.
I have to wonder how Freeman became a captain because she really is not a good captain.
They should? What should their standards be?I mean this is still the federation right? They should have higher standards?
Look at Captain Esteban of the U.S.S. Grissom from STIII:TSFS or Captain Harriman of the U.S.S. Enterprise 1701-B in comparison and no, she seems more competent compared to both of them.I rewatched the episode last night and I think I originally read it wrong. When I originally gave this episode a 6 (And I stand by that), I just didn't like the message of you should always break the rules. Watching the episode again, I have to wonder how Freeman became a captain because she really is not a good captain.
