2020 titles announced

So sort of like a sitcom.

Still, I wouldn't rule out the occasional novel--if the show pans out like the trailer it would be a much different type of Star Trek novel, a comedic one. It might be a fun novel to write for the right author.

Who knows, maybe one of our resident authors would jump at the chance to write that type of novel.

Peter David's good at funny Star Trek...

Yes, he and KRAD had a good sense of humor in their novels. I could see either one of them having a lot of fun with a Lower Decks novel if it is indeed a comedy show.

But who knows, maybe Christopher, Greg Cox or any of our other current writers would love to write a funny novel. Let their hair down

Not sort of.
The whole concept behind the show is that it's an adult animated comedy along the lines of the stuff on Fox's Animation Domination block or Adult Swim. The showrunner is even one of the main writers for Rick & Morty.

Oh yeah, that too. I never read that or the book, so I keep forgetting about it.

If you look at the cover on the Kindle page it does say "Edited by Una McCormack", so it looks like the change is legit. Something like that wouldn't happen if it was just a mistake on Amazon's part. I checked the websites for Titan, who published the other autobiographies, and Penguin, who is listed on the Spock book's Amazon page, and neither of them have the book listed.

Una just confirmed my question on Facebook that she is now doing the Spock title in addition to the Janeway title.

Hope she gets round to writing a Sisko autobiography as well! I have to say, it stung to see Una writing for Voyager. If it has been Beyer I probably wouldn't have minded.

With the Janeway biography it’ll be interesting to compare the first part of it with “Mosaic” and “Pathways”, since those 2 books were written in the 90’s but only went up-to Season 4/5.
