ST Discovery showrunner says season 3 wil be worth the wait.

IDK - Every season of the current new Trek run, someone in the production comes out and says - "...will be the best season..."; and yeah, overall while I did like ST: D S1 and liked S2 more than S1; for me part of the enjoyment was that it was (then) in the 23rd century. And while I think the Burnham character is okay - what I really enjoyed about S2 was Christopher Pike.

Bottom line: IDK if I will enjoy a more directly Burnlam focused season, or a season set in the 32nd century more than the fist two seasons, but we'll see.

Honestly, at this point I just want a damn premiere date announced. Yeah, I know they're probably waiting for virtual Comic-Con to do that, but having these fluff pieces in the interim going on about "it's the best yet, you're going to love it" just feels like a cruel tease.

I'de be happy to have any bit of new trek to watch weather it's the best or worst season of Dis

I never really bother with articles like that. What are they going to say?
'Just so you guys know, this season is really mediocare.'

Or how Zoe Kravitz recently stated that Pattinson is such a great and perfect choice for the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman. They're still in production. The producers and studios aren't going to ask her to say he sucks in interviews.

Every show and movie will always be labeled as 'the best we're working on', 'a great new vision of this character', 'a bold new undertaking in terms of cinematic adventures'. And especially in the last few months, with so many productions delayed. They still need to get some press out, so stuff like that is atleast keeping the hype going.

I suppose I'm just more the "put up or shut up" type. Either use these interviews to say something substantial, or just don't bother at all.

I want them to say that. I'll be more interested than them going "Best thing I've ever worked on!"

I get it-marketing is a thing. But, my reaction to most marketing is a lot of eye rolling, sights, and just flat out rejection of products.

At least a new trailer. I mean, c'mon!!! Throw us a frikin' bone here.

It's awesome! It's great! It's the best! Who needs the 23rd or 24th Century? Blew my mind away.

Arex gives it four thumbs up.

The guy with three arms? I'm afraid to ask about the fourth thumb.

Schrodinger's show.

More like Pavlov's show, making us drool for their amusement.
