Spock wig

MoonManMike

Ensign
Newbie
Hi. I'm new here and have a question about wigs. Can anyone recommend a good wig to wear as Spock? There are some on ebay, but the quality seems questionable. Does anyone have an opinion on these? Is there a decent quality one that is available? Many thanks

For their price, Rockstar Wigs are good quality. Buy one, then take it to a hairdresser to cut it in the shape of Spock's hair. He has a sort of...bowl cut? Bang? Something like the Sassi Short, Hologram, or Gamine might work.

Thanks. It does seem that nobody makes a decent 'off the shelf' wig, so I might have to try one of those you've suggetsed

That would be like wearing a hat.
Some people can. Others? Not so much.

Put a Spock wig on me...and I become Moe Howard.

Facial patterns, shapes, and lines - they are indeed unique and even combinations therein share similar traits. Not everybody looks good in style x, even if the person doing it believes otherwise. But looks are like art - being completely subjective, and the fact styles change more slowly for some than for others... it's all good. :D

I happen to have a similar longish face to Leonard Nimoy and similar facial features, so I'm hoping that a 'Spok wig' would look ok on me. I just need to find one. I did buy a 'cheapy' ebay wig, but got what I was expecting - rubbish! I'm a little reluctant now to buy any others without seeing them first, which won't be easy. I don't mind paying a reasonable sum, but for the right thing!

You need some Stooges in your life, MMM.

My two favorites are Brideless Groom (1947) and Disorder in the Court (1936)
