Could Future Guy be the Prime version of Krall from Star Trek Beyond?

I don't think that just because Future Guy mentions humans means he's not a human. Despite being American, if I became a Bond villain tomorrow and talked to my minions about world domination plans, I wouldn't go out of my way to say "Let's not involve my people or the Russians yet on Project Star Destroyer". I'd probably say "Let's not involve the Americans or Russians yet on Project Star Destroyer". What else am I going to call them?

By that point, he might have transcended his humanity, and/or he might not even want his minions to know his species lest it give them something to use against him.

One point to consider about his time as a MACO...

MACOs were disbanded at least 7 years after the Xindi arc. Edison possibly being on the Enterprise at that time can fit because he may very well have been a Lt. at that time. He was a Major when the MACOs were done, and 7 years is plenty of time for a couple promotions. Especially if some of his other assignments were higher profiled, like during the Romulan War.

Not saying the theory is true, but there is enough side stuff to support it. (I personally think it's a cool theory.)

I don't mind melding some storylines together but I don't like these two because it just feels like the two characters had different agendas and methods. I think Future Guy is just good as some unnamed benefactor of the Suliban manipulating time untold centuries from Enterprise's present. Part of me likes the idea that Prime Krall just had a similar storyline as what happened in Beyond but was stopped by Jeffrey Hunter, Leonard Nimoy and Majel Barrett on the TOS Enterprise and Prime Krall had a big Gorn style head.

Prime Krall could indeed have been stopped by the TOS Enterprise just for him to go into hiding and become Future Guy. Wouldn't be the only time the NCC 1701 dropped some villain off in the middle of nowhere and forgot to check on him. (Ceti Alpha 5?)

MY reasoning for it being Archer was that

    1. He was stranded in the future for part of an ep.

    2. He indicated a willingness to save The Enterprise. It seemed to indicate he wasn't sure if he could exist if they were destroyed....course in the same ep he got pissed and said enough was enough.

Considering Krall was a MACO who likely served on the NX-01 himself, he would also want to save Enterprise to preserve his past self's wellbeing.
