And the Next Cancelled Show is...

I doubt it counts when the rest of the makeup renders them clearly non-Human. No significant criticism has been leveled at TOS because of the "evil Mongolian horde from the East" Klingons.

Now now, don't conflate taking the trash out with throwing all the furniture outta house. Plenty of shows in all conceivable genres were and are being made without having to resort to targeted humor that hasn't aged well, e.g. Stranger Things, Team Knight Rider, The Twilight Saga, The Walking Dead, The Good Place, Black Mirror, Baywatch, Due South, Alarm für Cobra 11, etc. etc.

We can be lucky that in all of Star Trek, only 1 episode (TNG "Code of Honor") is being considered for removal.

Would it be better or worse if they colour shifted all those African American Actors to Red or Green?

I'd say that it's nice to see CBS cleaning house, but then I remember that Michael Weatherly is still the star of Bull, so no. No gold star on their report card today.

yeah never quite worked out how bull managed to stay on air after the behavior of weatherly (and some for the production crew) came to light.

This just in from the "Netflix Cancels Everything" department... Netflix has canceled Chilling Adventures of Sabrina after two seasons (which were split into two parts each). The final eight episodes will drop sometime later this year.

They'll shop it around.

Put it on a network where they will show Hilda and Zelda eating the small-minded villagers.

Although the cooking was more fun than the eating back on Hannibal and IZombie.

Unlikely. How long have the kids in both Simpsons and South Park remained in Elementary School?
And for the Simpsons what's really funny is they have the episode (first or second season) that shows Bart Simpson all grown up and a Supreme Court Justice talking to his dad (when they finally went to see the Itchy & Scratchy Movie together) in what? 2001...:rommie:

But Lisa is President.

She probably put him on the Supreme Court, after he got fired from Kinkos.

I doubt Bart has a law degree or a judgeship, despite not being distracted by cartoons.

That makes sense, and it also lends a nice symmetry to each actress's portrayal of the queen — they'll each get two seasons apiece.

We already knew we'd be getting 6 seasons, didn't we? I don't understand how that news is any different. It feels more like they're going along the path they've always wanted.

Peter Morgan had always intended the show to run six seasons, but Netflix announced they would pull the plug after Season 5 because that's how they roll. Apparently he was able to convince them that the story he wanted to tell really did need a sixth season, or it finally dawned on them that they can't just keep cancelling everything.

I really enjoyed S1 & S2 of the Crown but parts of season 3 just felt off. It just felt like they took more liberty with making shit up for dramatic purposes. I'm sure Season 1 & 2 was full of it too but it never came across as much as it did in season 3.

Ahh well, I do remember that now that you mention it. It's one of their best shows, so maybe they did realize that they were needing it to stay around longer.

Honestly the only thing I'm remotely interested in watching is the recent quarantine fan film version of The Princess Bride starring essentially everyone.

Which says a lot about their business model.
