In a final season Odd Couple episode, we flash back to a story of Oscar and Felix's fathers meeting in 1930 Chicago. Elisha Cook pops up as a suspiciously old-looking Elliot Ness undercover.

The last shot is him just wandering off to continue his quest.
Honestly, I don't think the show was very good. A LOT of standard action/chase scenes, a few 'meaningful' episodes where we're told that hippies are really good people at heart, and Native Americans deserve fair treatment, even if the main one is played by a Sicilian (Sal Mineo) (seriously). His immortal blood was mainly a McGuffin, and only played a real role in 3 or 4 episodes where he used it to heal people. Oh, and the opening title sequence is unbearable - two full minutes, half of which is Paul Frees narrating the premise, half of which is chase scenes with music mixed so sharp it literally hurt my ears. I'm glad I finally saw it, but I have no need to see it again.

I've always wondered if I should have added the show to my collection as I remember the Pilot from the seventies but the series well, only saw one or two and can't really recall anything outside of a cave scene!!!

It's Alive has just started on the MoviesTV network and I noticed Michael Ansara in the credits.
This is one of those movies I read about, but not seen until now, so this should be interesting.

Robert Lansing is in trouble and Nancy Kovak is his flimsy alibi in a flimsy nightgown on the Name of the Game episode "For Swingers Only."

Name of the Game's "So Long Baby, and Amen" is a hard-hitting 1970 exposé on teenage drug abuse, introducing Laurie Prange, who, IIRC, seemed to specialize in the teenage runaway role for a while. It featured a brief appearance by Ken Lynch lecturing on the dangers of dope...

... and Jame Gregory as senator Fu - er, Tucker, a cranky old politician holding hearings on same.

The guy near Fix looks like a young Clint Eastwood.

Paul Fix is one of those actors who was apparently born old.

Why would a young Clint Eastwood be in an episode of Rawhide? :vulcan:
Oh, I forgot to mention, the episode was written by Fred Freiberger!

Something to do with being the star of the show, I think. I could be wrong.
