Since Voyage Home-style graphics are so hard to come by, I am trying a little something, upgrading the little bit I did have to more of a Final Frontier/Undiscovered Country style.
Current upgrades are in uncolored grey, while the blue/green areas were original Voyage Home style

A quick update as I try to expand the Voyage Home console
Trying to keep things semi-ergonomic for the user

Not sure how I am feeling about the edges. Would appreciate some feedback on this thus far

I like it. Even without the colors it looks functional

colors will be the easy part. The rough part will be adding the numbers on every single one of those square buttons LOL

Hmm, its coming along. Debating whether to rework the screens, or apply the color to these first

Started laying the color. I decided to try something new. Instead of just spreading all the different colors around randomly, I wanted to add a little extra order to it. Adding a third color level, I apply all blue colors to the text/numbers, all teal colors to the buttons, and the greens will be limited to displays like power levels and such. We'll see how this applies to the screens above, though I'll try to differentiate in a similar manner

Okay, I think I have the basics laid out. I still have to put the numbers on the buttons and such, but this is the basics. At least for the Communications console. I plan on upgrading the others as well

And now for all the text... boy that was a <censored> and a half. But I think this is now officially finalized. I even took the extra step of in most places avoiding just random numbers.

Gorgeous graphics, @K1productions! Looks very functional to me. Would love to sit in front of this as an actual physical Okudagram and press all the buttons. :)

Oh I know right? I can't be the only one who has either drawn, colored, or printed out pages of such buttons and laid them out across a table, dresser, or desk in my room to just play around pushing buttons :P

Hmm... I wonder if I should make a new thread for everyone's little custom home projects

Time to move on to other consoles, like the Damage and Repair stand-up console. I did more than just take away some of the panels, if you notice the two on the right are the subsystem select and subsystem test panels, instead of the normal function and manual input panels. I would imagine the stand-up stations have less function and input required.
I based the wheel displays on how they originally appeared on the Voyage Home console, while using a similar singular display from the Communications console. While the display on the right may also seem to be a copy, I instead made it a maintenance log, which I still feel is better than random numbers :3

Well... my invention of keeping all the screens the same proportional size sure didn't last long. I felt the Damage and Repair station was appropriate for an MSD. I suppose I could try an alternate version where the MSD is normal screen size, but I'm curious what others think first. Oh, I went with Constellation-class rather than Constitution :3
