Spoilers Batwoman - Season 1

It always seemed to me that Clark would adopt with Lois, and then possibly have a biological child with Wonder Woman later. (Lots of stories implied they end up together after Lois passes for whatever reason.)
the Clark of Earth-167 (Smallville)
Does anyone know the significance of the 167 there? It seemed like most of the other Earths that had characters from legacy shows like "Birds of Prey" had numbers that corresponded to the years their shows were on.

It's a nod to both of Smallville's showrunners being born in 1967.

Actually Birds of Prey is one that doesn't fit that pattern, because it's Earth-203 and the show began in 2002. As I said in a recent Patreon review, I suspect it might actually be a reference to Suicide Squad #23, the debut appearance of Barbara Gordon in her Oracle identity. Although there was no reason not to call it Earth-23 in that case, since that number hasn’t been taken by any prior Arrowverse reality.

Could just mean the year it ended.

That's what everyone assumes, but why would they pick the year a show began in other cases and the year it ended in this case? There was no previous Earth-202 to preclude them from using that. Besides, only the last four episodes aired in 2003, and on only two nights, one in January and one in February, to burn them off. It had already been cancelled by then. So it'd be an odd choice to favor '03 over '02.

Maybe it's not referencing the year exactly (because 2 (and 3) were already taken), but the 02/03 TV season and they just cut the leading zero because they're not JJ Abrams.

Why make it so complicated, though? Batman ran from 1966-68 and they just called it Earth-66. As I said, there was nothing to preclude them from just going with Earth-202 if that had been it. Unless it was just a typo that nobody fixed because it was too trivial to bother with.

I have the impression that I read something somewhere stating that it was a nod to Suicide Squad #23, or at least theorizing it, but I haven't been able to track it down.

Seems the most likely.

Either that, or the names are basically random and they used the first one that came to mind. After all, logically Earth-Smallville should have either 201 (beginning) or 211 (end) and Earth-TUD5 (was it ever called that on-screen?) should logically be Earth-77.

I don't think "logically" applies, since it wasn't meant to be a systematic rule, just a set of in-jokes and winks to the audience. For instance, Earth-75 was named for the issue number in which the death of Superman occurred, and Lucifer being on Earth-666 was for obvious reasons. It was just whatever number struck their fancy.

And the "TUD" labels are just Wiki placeholders. It's short for "Temporary Universe Designation."

She made very little impact on me with on God Friended Me.

Although if she's good friends with Violett Beane, who was also on God Friended me, maybe Jessie Quick might return to the CW a couple times a Year.

Ruby Rose gave an enthusiastic endorsement of her casting on Instagram. Also praised the cast and crew she will be working with

Which is very encouraging for any hope she will return for some type of guest appearance.

I've never seen her, but pretty much all of the Arrowverse's lead actors have been good, so I'm confident she'll do a good job.

I lost all interest in Batwoman when it came to light that for some inexplicable reason the producers had decided to throw the entirety of Season 1 out the window by writing Kate Kane out of her own show, but at the same time I can't help but wonder how this new actress will do, so my response is the following quip from Han Solo:
"Good luck; you're gonna need it".

Zombie Jesus on a hover bike.

This isn't the first show ever to have its lead actor leave for some reason and have their character replaced with a new one. It's also not the first show to dump elements from its first season.
