Mulder vs Scully. Who did you like the best?

I loved them both and they were great together and had amazing chemistry despite the fact the actors didn't seem to like each other in real life. I think when I was younger I preferred Mulder but today it's maybe Scully because I sort of relate to her skepticism a little better and she was more open minded than people gave her credit. She simply took fewer leaps of logic in dealing with the strange things. Plus I think Anderson is a better actor overall but I even felt that way back in the day. Still love Mulder though.

My mom and I really liked Mulder. My mom really didn't like Scully for some reason. I liked her okay but didn't like it when they made them a couple (sort of) later on. They should have stayed great friends. I wish one thing the show had done differently though and that is for Mulder to have never found out what happened to his sister. Just left that his motivation. It was pretty tiring how many things they said happened to her until finally the truth. But that is just my opinion on that.

I agree about not finding his sister. Also them not being a couple. I mean I didn't fully hate everything they did do in those regards but it was better before they went down that path.

Totally. If anything the sudden attraction between them seems to come out of nowhere in Fight the Future and becomes a permanent fixture on the series from the sixth season onward.

I loved both of the characters. The later seasons of the show itself suffered from poor writing and Duchovny getting bored with his character.

Why does everything always have to be "z vs z"? I like them both equally, a big part of what made the show work for me is the fact that they were both great characters.

Mulder. Scully's constant skepticism got a little tiresome.
Although, I did enjoy it that when it came to religious matters they inverted the dynamic with Scully being the open minded one and Mulder being the cynic.

I had SUCH a crush on Mulder back in the 90s (X Files was THE show for me back then), so I have to pick Mulder here. I'm doing a re-watch at the moment and Mulder looks even better in HD and hnnnnnggg, it takes me right back to the times when my room had a HUGE Mulder corner with posters and pictures and all.

I do also like Scully tho, no dislike here. I just like Mulder better. Today, however... if I'm completely honest, Skinner is more my type.

Mulder. A lot closer to my personality type. Although, of all the regular and semi-regular X-Files characters the one I feel the most kinship with was Byers.
