How would the Federation handle the discovery and exploration of the Following

Acenos

Lieutenant Commander
Red Shirt
  • Planet Popstar from the Kirby games. Supposedly it exists within the Milky Way Galaxy as it is so far away from Earth, that it would be invisible to Earth's population. In the early 21st Century to be exact.

Despite it's appearance as a rounded five-pointed star from space, it is a spherical Terrrestrial planet with Earthlike Conditions.

This planet is also the Home of a small pink ball-like creature with stubby arms and stubby legs, large eyes and a wears smile on his face. One of the Most powerful beings in the Universe and the savior of Popstar.

  • Planet Hocotate and Koppai from the Pikmin game trilogy. Supposedly in the Milky Way too as the planet the games are set in, Called "PNF-404", is actually Earth if the manmade objects found throughout the games mean anything. The Average Hright of a Hocotatian and and a Koppaite is 2 Centimeters. Oxygen is poisonous to both races and they breath a different gas. Hocotate is known for it's lucrative freight service whole Koppai is in the grip of a planet-wide famine as a result of it's uncontrolled overpopulation.

  • Planet Corneria from the Star Fox games. The Capital of a space faring Civilization that encompasses the Lylat system which Corneria resides in. It is he Home planet of the Lylatian/Cornerian race. An alien species comprised of Anthropomorphic humanoid beings resembling Fauna native on Earth. There is no singular species and the classification of the Animal Kingdom applies to the countless different animal species the race is made up of. There also exist a Planet named Sauria (also known as Dinosaur planet). Home of the Saurian Race. Consisting of Sapient Dinosaur Species and other Prehistoric Animal species from Earth's past. Unlike the Cornerians, The Saurians live out a more primitive and tribalistic level of civilization, but have already made contact with Corneria as it does not adhere to a prime directive like the Federation.

:
Both Corneria and Sauria ar Earthlike planets, but many planets in the lylat system are also habitable having been Terraformed by the Cornerian Civilization.

The Lylat System is also in the Milky Way Galaxy being near the Center of the Galaxy according to Starfox lore.

So how world the UFP and Starfleet Handle exploration of these worlds as well as possible first contact with their respective civilizations? For Popstar's case, would the Prime directive even matter at all? Especially since it's level of development is all over the place and since the Kirby Games almost always explored outer space and even planets around Popstar with and without the use of a Starship with a warp drive. How would they even handle the existence of Kirby? Especially since he's very powerful and has defeated eldritch abominations throughout the series. No way the "absolute power corrupts absolutely" shtick would even apply to him since he used his powers for good intentions and to save his home planet from universe-destroying entities.

Even He was an incarnation of an Eldtrich being as well. Fortunately a positive/good incarnation.

How would these worlds be handled by the Federation in the following eras in the Prime universe?

- Post-ENT, DSC and Pre-TOS era

- TOS, Phase II and TOS movie era

- Post TOS, Early TNG era

- TNG/TNG Movies, DS9, and Voyager Era.

- Picard and STO era.

Lastly, How would Kevin Timeline Federation handle the discovery, exploraitons and first contact of those worlds?

guess we need a new subforum for arcade-trek crossovers XD
I mean Corneria would be the usual first contact/exploration routine. Starfleet would have to be very careful when handling Hocotate and koppai sinceit's inhabitants are only a couple centimeters tall and the lack of oxygen in the atmosphere.

Popstar just defies and completely destroys all logic and every scientific laws ever known. To the point where Vulcans would be very curious as to how things work in the part of space.

It looks like a giant marshmallow from a Lucky Charms box. Methinks Riker and Troi would whip out the chocolate milk (from Hocotate?) and dig in, with Data rattling off the ingredients and caloric quantity and advising both of them to not partake excessively, having just analyzed and measured via optical scanning their midsections... Meanwhile, Dr. Crusher would moan over the microbes being devoured as they have more value than themselves, all while Picard bangs on about the Prime Directive and why they shouldn't be eating it in the first place. :guffaw:

I shouldn't giggle; Kirby's a Nintendo character and Nintendo pretty much rules for introducing platformers and strategy games with the level of depth the Atari 2600 couldn't do -- or could if the cartridge could add RAM and other functionality, both used the same CPU... but the 2600 had 1/8th KB of RAM. 128 Bytes. The NES had 4KB; so much more could be done. If only it had 8KB...

(though why the US version of the NES was crippled, whereas the Famicom from which it stemmed had an extra sound channel, devoted to lower frequencies? The Castlevania comparison videos reveal the highest potential of Famicom. And I disliked that game...

But back to Trek. I want to see Wesley beat Spock at Kirby's Dream Land, though Spock would inquire the illogic of why Wes keeps equating the bonus prize as "Robin Lefler". Dr Phlox would want to marry 6 or 7 of the more interesting (if not bigger) microbes...

In reality, planets are not true spheres - they are irregular elliptical; nearly completely spheroid but not quite. It's also the mass of the planet that creates the gravity - not its rotation; never knew that until recently... of course, if Earth stopped rotating the atmosphere still would (unless the force stopping the planet also stopped the atmosphere) and as such would sweet up everything on the planetary surface into it. Like a tornado, or a person having a coughing puking attack after ingesting too much of something hippies overused.
