I'll say it one last time. Trek has been doing starship porn since the beginning, all those flybys, reveal montages, designs etc. Star Trek Picard didn't bother with any of that. I won't lose sleep over it, I won't hate Chabon, but I think he could have respected the legacy of a 50 year franchise and put more effort in, regardless of the fact that he isn't into ships. There's a bigger picture to consider, but he chose to not bother. It's a shame.

And underneath of all this arguing, is your hypocritical stance on a separate issue, which you just refuse to even acknowledge, let alone try and explain, which gives you almost no credibility in any of this.

How can you claim in one breath that you're not asserting he has a moral obligation to provide you with starship porn, and then in another breath claim he was not "respecting" Trek's legacy because he didn't do starship porn?

Like at this point I'm just fascinated at your ability to completely contradict yourself without noticing. I can't tell if it's intentional or you're genuinely that thoughtless.

Okay, I'm not a mod, but I have to say something. I didn't start this thread so I could see a constant back-and-forth between Sci and Kpnuts. We're now at the point of "I know you are but what am I?" If @The Old Mixer told you to knock it off, then please listen to him.

If I wanted to debate all this with Kpnuts, I could've and would've. I let him have his say. I accepted that I don't see eye-to-eye with him and we moved on. @Sci there comes a point where it's time to move on. He said what he said, you said what you said, you're not changing each others' minds, the mods aren't amused, I can't say I blame them, and it's time to let it go.
