Not sure. Like I said, it's not them, it's the publishers that are releasing the e-books without a cover, so you'd probably be better off sending it to Simon & Schuster/Gallery Books. Really? I swear I remember seeing them listed at one point.
According to eReaderIQ (which only tracks Kindle prices)Unity and Rising Son were $1.99 in October 2015, but only for a few days, so not as part of a monthly sale. The other two have never been lower than $6.83 and $6.68.
And I wasn't clued into the sales until February 2016. That's rotten luck! Although it does raise my hopes a little - if they've been in the rotation before, perhaps they'll be in it again someday...
I'd never heard of eReaderIQ before, and have now lost a good 15 minutes looking through it. There appear to have been a blessed couple of days (July 22-23, 2015) where a ton of the older books (all of the DS9 numbered novels, for example) went on sale for $1.99 or $2.99. Does anyone remember that taking place? If so, why did they have that sale? (He asked, hoping that Amazon might do something similar again since it's been almost 5 years...)
And that's what say call a "business", you know. You can look all over the Internet for e-books here and there, but almost all official websites of well-known companies will sell it at the same price, there were selling it before VAT was dropped, like before quarantine. That's why I do prefer online resources, where owners allow to download ebooks, like this free books database, with no limits and no payments. Of course, it has not so many new books, but it has a lot of literature of genres like fantasy and fictions, and that's what I always look for.
@historypeats There was a big sale on Trek ebooks on July 3 2018 something like 20 or so ebooks at .99 cents. I too missed the sale in 2015 too. So please dont feel bad. Hopefully we will get another chance for a great sale soon. I'm not sure why the 2015 sale happened. But zi do remember in March 2016 the monthly ebook sales were announced and selling of Trek ebooks with no DRM. I found out about both through this forum, so I am eternally grateful. I like yourself and many others, Im sure we are all playing catch up on past ebook sales. I miss having other ebooks discounted along with the monthly sales at $3.99 - $4.99 as well. I miss the choices. I hope that helps Please stay safe to you and all on the forums. All the best, -Koric
I don't know if this is the right place, but is there a resource anywhere for which Trek novels are and aren't available for Kindle? I've wanted to read The Entropy Effect and the novels in publication order for a while, but I can see it isn't available as an ebook or was discontinued.
https://www.amazon.com/Entropy-Effect-Star-Trek-Original-ebook/dp/B000FC0O18 ETA: Just noticed you're from the UK and it seems amazon.co.uk really doesn't seem to have the book as eBook (only the german translation).
I've had the e-book of Entropy Effect on my Nook account for a few years now. I really should read it one of these days.
Thanks for getting back to me. I've had a look around Amazon, but given their idiosyncratic way of labelling books in regard to series or book number, it's a bit annoying that it's hard to find which books are and aren't available.
I compiled a list of Trek titles unavailable on Amazon UK for Kindle back in 2014; haven't checked to see if any have returned since then, but I'd be really surprised if they had.

Wow. Some good options there. And alot announced at once. Crazy that I bought Last Best Hope for full price on release day.
Koric, you're the best detective for this stuff! There are some repeats in there, and the overall three-month lineup is quite a grab bag, but some of these have long been on my wish list (Articles of the Federation, Taking Wing), and I'm stoked to be able to grab Dead Endless and The Last Best Hope so soon after release date. It looks like I can even start backfilling some of the "numbered novels" - it's been many years, but I remember really liking A Rock and a Hard Place. Does anyone know whether a) authors are paid similarly when their work is sold as an e-book vs. as a paperback, and b) whether their payouts are affected by the price the distributor sets? [I'd assume the answer for b) is no, but I'd like to be sure.)
Wow, that's surprising that they've put up the next three months already! Some great picks there. I'm glad to get some more of the DS9 relaunch novels. And Articles of the Federation is one of my favourite books in the line, and I've been hoping it would get the monthly sale treatment for a while now. It'll be great to finally get it in digital format! Also (pleasantly) surprised to see some recent releases, like Dead Endless and Last Best Hope. (Although I had already bought Last Best Hope, because it was available here for $3.99 when it was first released.)
I kinda feel like someone listened to my feedback here! Seeing sales on older numbered books, which is something I have wanted for a while. We would see one occasionally, but nothing like this! Also, Balance of Power was the first Trek book I had ever purchased! I actually bought it in a grocery store when I was in middle school. I've had it on my wishlist for a bit to repurchase digitally (I have no clue where my old copy has gone off to) and now it's coming as a sale, which is awesome! Really surprised to see the new Picard book going on sale already, but I planned on snagging it eventually. Another Discovery book is cool too. I already have the Destiny books, but might get the omnibus version if its between 99 cents and 1.99 just to have it be a seamless read the next time I go through it, as that series I enjoyed.
