Steven Moffat is on twitter (temporarily)

I don't think he's on any social media. He wasn't even in the special "Thank You" to all the real doctors

I've heard Eccleston didn't participate in the video because he's philosophically opposed to the NHS soliciting donations at all, since as a public institution it should be fully funded by the government and not reliant on charity, and he felt that his participating in this would be a tacit endorsement of the budget cuts that required the NHS to need to ask for money in the first place. I quickly tried to source that claim, and while it's definitely consistent with his views on NHS funding, I didn't find any place that directly connected those views with him not participating in this campaign.

Also, he has an instagram.

That's a weird form of protest, since it only hurts the people who were already hurt by the ones you're protesting. It seems misdirected.

That was one of the early Eighth Doctor stories that really engaged me, and had a few lines that made me lol.
It's one of the few audio plays that I've listened to a second time. More so because there are so many new ones to listen to and these days , I'm waaay behind. But I'm definitely considering do this live tweeting because I love this story so much.

That was a lot of fun. I had forgotten just how amazing that story is. A beautiful combination of chills and cheer while acting as a significant moment in Charley's overall story. Along with Big Finish's best, the story easily stands with the best stories the show itself has produced.

That's very interesting. So which future Doctor is it supposed to be? It says he put his dying mind into the core. The 45th that died on a battle field in the arms of River?

A new short sequel, this time to "The Girl in the Fireplace," performed by Sophia Myles and written by Steven Moffat.

Also, going though RTD's and Moffat's tweets from today, I found another new jolly tidbit for the lore:

There's also a fun thread where he talks about the early planned episode order for the second season, and how it got shuffled around, including the fact that "The Runaway Bride" started life as a regular-degular midseason episode.

The next watchalong is this Sunday at 7 pm BST, "The Zygon Invasion" and "The Zygon Inversion," featuring Ingrid Oliver and Peter Harness on Twitter.

I missed that particular nugget because Davies and Moffat were posting so much and I was trying to keep up with the episode.

Sophia Myles also revealed a couple of things: The golden dress she wore during the climax in the ballroom was a hand me down from Helen Mirren! Also, Ben Turner, who played King Louis, is a childhood friend of hers.

I didn't expect the phildickian twist in "Pompadour." But it makes me wonder...

River's mind exists in a computer. The Doctor's mind, if Colin Salmon's Doctor Moon is the last Doctor, exists in a computer. And now, we learn that Reinette's mind exists within a computer. If only there were some way the Doctor, River, and Reinette could all be happy together forever in a mainframe somewhere.

Does Xoanon fit in somewhere?

The two Osgoods deal with self-isolation...and a certain someone is listening in...
