So, what if the fifth pearl is inside a second copy of Hale?
Or rather, the first copy, the one created by Bernard?
I'm not sold on this - I'm not "sold" on any of the hypotheses I throw out regarding this series; the show's just too good at hiding its big reveals (often by getting everyone to ask the wrong questions going in - for example, "who's in all those pearls" and everyone guessing other hosts when Bernard
appears to have been the only other person Dolores brought back).
According to some sites, there's a shot in a flashback of Dolores creating a Hale in the Host-manufacturing station at Arnold's house:
Now, I can't tell who that is. But suppose it's Hale (could be Dolores, couldn't it?) - well, Dolores already
had a Hale body. She was in it.
And we have an unaccounted for "anomaly" - one in Berlin.
When Hale calls Musashi, she's shot in deep shadow to obscure details other than her face and hand - yet both look to be much improved since her conversion into Host Barbeque at the end of episode 6. And, of course, given access to the right equipment she can fix herself up real quick. So, maybe nothing.
She calls Musashi, warning him that the plan "is for all of us to die" and minutes later who shows up to kill him? Maeve and Clementine, Hosts who oppose Dolores.
