Fuck him.
Man’s dead, I can let my dislike go.
Fuck him.
Not being a lawyer, I don't understand how suit can be brought for an act of God or a freak occurrence like a viral pandemic. What is the cause of action?
It’s just a shitty thing to do. Give everyone their money back, and when the season is decided, let people repurchase as they can. A lot of people won’t be able to make rescheduled games (as in our case it involves travel, time off work, etc). If that’s the case then they lose all the way around.
How does ARod get the Mets while Jeter gets the crappy Marlins? Totally unfair on a baseball cosmic level.

Not to mention, if MLB goes ahead with the rumored plan to play a shortened season at Chase Field and the various Cactus League facilities around Arizona to empty stands, then nobody gets to attend, and damn skippy they should get their money back. It's the right thing to do, but hey, capitalism. It’s just a shitty thing to do. Give everyone their money back, and when the season is decided, let people repurchase as they can. What happens if you have to cancel for work/illness/other? Do you eat the cost or do you get a refund? I've only dealt with them a few times.
It was unfair that Jeter got the Marlins over Jorge Mas, who actually had the money to run the team.
And not getting refunds back for tickets you bought is shit and they should be sued. However 1001001, can I borrow some money? I don't think I have spent $1,500 total on all my tickets in my life.
Well, half of that is Billingsley's. Club level seats, 2 games.
Alex Cora is the better manager and IMHO will be the first to be hired - probably by the Red Sox. Nobody knows what kind of manager Beltran might have been. Maybe he'll find a job, but I think he'll have to start out as a coach or minor league manager.Interesting article about the three managers who got fired over the Astros cheating scandal...

They think that A.J. Hinch will be back in a dugout soon after his suspension is over, and that the other two may never manage again.
If I'm an owner, why would I hire Hinch? They say he knew what was going on and even tried to stop it (supposedly). It is clear to me, that if that's the case, he lost control of his clubhouse and really shouldn't be managing again.
It seems to me Hinch is getting the benefit of the doubt about his future prospects for the worst reason of all, he's white.
