Millenium Falcon vs Serenity

So I was watching Solo....The train heist....Thinking about Firefly.....

And I thought of an old debate my ex and I used to have where she insisted the Falcon was a piece of gosa and I felt Serenity couldn't even make the Kessel run in a 1000 parsecs.....

Basically, which one do you prefer??

I see. A Sophia's Choice question! I will go with the Falcon. It came first. That is why Malcom Reynolds is a Han Solo type of character were as Han Solo is HAN SOLO as a character.

Serenity. The Falcon is too ugly to suit my tastes and I feel like Serenity is more adaptable to what I would use it for, versus the YT-1300.

Well....I guess it depends on whether you want speed or functionality. For fast, the Falcon. For living quarters and storage space, it's Serenity.

I enjoy the Star Wars movies because I like SF, but I don't consider myself a major "Star Wars fan".

Serenity is like the brownie eating hippie-aunt in the family of space ships,
kinda fat... strange clothings and decorate her home like 19th century earth.
so... she is very warm and lovely, but i'll go with the design masterpiece The Falcon.

Serenity is gorgeous, and has a much more homely feel to it. But there just something about the Falcon.

Not just because I prefer SW to FF, but AFAIK Serenity doesn't have weapons, shields or FTL capability. Although if it does have any of those things, feel free to shoot me down

If La Sirena was in the poll, I'd have voted for it. I like it better than the Falcon and Serenity.

Don't much care for Cris Rios as a character, but I thought it was cool that the "emergency" crewmembers were actually holograms of him, each with different accents.

As much as I love the Falcon, I love Serenity a tiny bit more, it's just find it a much more interesting design. The Falcon is basically just a big disc with a chunk taken out of it, Serenity is a bit more interesting with it's almost insectoid design.

As pointed out above, Serenity is a sublight ship. Much as I love her, that alone puts the armed and hyperspace-capable Falcon on top.

The Falcon, without a moment's hesitation. As a personal use ship that is workplace/war-capable/fast all in one, its a nearly perfect. Visually, the ship appears rough yet sleek at the same time--a difficult design feat to pull off, but the rest is history. OTOH, Serenity looks like a bird's head stuck to a rising pile of...

I have a slight preference for the Serenity but overall I value both.

Also, slightly off-topic, do you like the Falcon as such, or prefer it in a specific configuration (like square deflector dish, or escape pod at the bow)?
