Anyone rewatching any old shows during quarantine?

The tv movies and the series are very different beasts. But there is very little as good as the best episodes of the series (even though Darren was pretty scathing). Horror in the Heights is as good as series tv gets.If you like cheesy horror, you might want to check out Kolchak: The Night Stalker.
I recently watched the first two installments of the show, The Night Stalker and The Night Strangler. These were the two made-for-tv movies. Both are very entertaining. The tv series episodes are ok. The show only had one season. You can watch any of them on You Tube.
Don't confuse Kolchak with Kojak though.

I've got The West Wing and Shōgun queued up.
I never saw Community during it's run. Something about a Joel McHale vehical featuring a bunch of unknowns & a washed up Chevy Chase just never pulled me in, at the time.
However, I have heard good things here & there, & of course it has since launched Donald Glover & to a lesser degree Alison Brie. So I thought I'd give it a go.
It has its well documented flaws, but when it's in its zone, it is some of the best TV comedy ever made. I think my favorites are the multiple timelines episode, & the will reading/lie detector episode

I was at the library the day before they shut everything down and managed to snag a copy of 'The Complete WKRP in Cincinnati' and have slowly been making my way through it. I'd forgotten how much good music they managed to include in each episode and thanks to Shout! Factory this has about 80-90% of the music restored. (The previous DVD collection used 'sound-alike' music or cut scenes entirely.) I also think it's one of the few sitcoms where everything just fell right into place from the first episode. 'As God as my witness, I thought turkey's could fly'.
I had already been doing a MASH S4 onward rewatch. When I was physically at work, I'd watch an episode on Hulu in the early morning when nobody else was around yet, then 1 or 2 at home in the afternoon.
Then I've been working from home for the last month and was able to watch multiple episodes some days and finished the series a few days ago.
When I want to watch an odd episode of MASH, I always go for S1-S3, so I haven't seen the later stuff for a while.
Now I'm watching Three Stooges shorts in order. I've gotten the first 3 in so far.
I did nuBSG late last year, then Futurama earlier this year. The Futurama rewatch was also aided by Hulu from work. I have all the DVD's ripped to my computer as well.
Another series with great music throughout was My Name Is Earl, which was also a really good show.

Ok I have a real big maybe life changing decision to make and I need help.
Now that the the Flash and Legende are on hold for now and I dont know if I continue Legends without Routh, I want to start with another show.
I am thinking about to start with " The Wire" or "Supernatural". What do you tv show experts advise?

I'd go with The Wire if you want a top notch police drama .... Supernatural for a more light hearted, sometimes campy romp. Two very different styles, feels and writing
I initially had no interest in watching Community. The ads for it were a real turn off. But then, several years ago, someone in the Doctor Who forum posted a video of when Britta and Annie got Abed hooked on Inspector Spacetime. I was immediately intrigued by Britta’s eyes, so I sought out more clips online. By the time I got to a montage of scenes of Troy crying, including the one where Britta was being whipped by Troy’s grandma, I knew that I had to see this show if only to know under what circumstances that scene could possibly make sense! It immediately became one of my favorites and I’m shocked that we live in a universe where such an intelligent show was allowed to run for 6 seasons. (I kept expecting my DVD set to consist of nothing but blank discs beyond episode 13.)
I was already in the midst of a 7 Days rewatch before the pandemic started. (You wanna see a real threat? Check out “The Gettysburg Virus.” COVID19’s got nothing on that sucker!) In retrospect, the constant will-they/won’t-they of Parker and Olga is very juvenile, so I understand why I liked this show so much back when I was in high school. But it’s still fun and charming when viewed through that lens.
I’m also kicking back with some Jon Pertwee era Doctor Who. Just finished “Spearhead from Space” last night.
I'm tiding myself over with Corner Gas and The Red Green Show.
I watched seasons 1-9 in no time, but the last few years where it became a drama I just can't watch as quickly. I gave up about 5 episodes before the finale.
The Wire a million times over, such a great show.
At face value, it is not an inviting show, nor are most of the players, when you paste them together for an ad. Most of the characters are largely unappealing people on the surface, a narcissist, an old racist, an Aspy, an SJW, etc... & not in any kind of ludicrously absurdly funny way, as with something like It's always Sunny in Philadelphia. No, they're dislikability is much realer lol
It's only after you get to watching it, that you begin to see the layer beneath that is innovative writing & then you better appreciate the performances. You can't put the meta shit from that show in an ad. Some people probably wouldn't even be able to digest it from just one episode. It's a slow burn, & the world around them is lunacy, so that doesn't help the presentation either
