After thinking through candidates for the guest stars who stole the show I came across in my mind many who had very limited roles but who are perfectly cast in them. So my list actors in small roles that were perfect are.....

    Joseph Ruskin as Galt.
Reggie nalder as the andorian Ambassador.
    Ted Cassidy as Ruk.
    Frank Overton as Elias Sandoval.
    John Abbott as Ayelborne.
    Charles McCauley as Jaris
Vic Perrin as the voice of nomad.
    Barry Atwater as Surak.
Bart LaRue as the voice of the Guardian.
    John Warburton as the Centurion.

Any thoughts on perfectly cast small roles?

Garry Walberg as Commander Hansen was a great find for such short screen time.

Keye Luke as Corey from another episode I hate.
And John Lormer in all three of his parts.

I wouldn't class Joseph Ruskin as Galt as a small part! Or Ted Cassidy as Ruk for that matter! Frank Overton and John Abbott either! They were all major parts of the episodes they were in! :techman:

Reggie Nalder as the Andorian ambassador was the very first name that popped into my brain.

Barry Russo as Giotto, he projects the image of a seasoned security chief.

I listen to a lot of Old Time Radio. Vic Perrin was a prolific actor in so many episodes. He did voices in animated series as well like Scooby Doo and Jonny Quest (Dr. Zin). He did okay in live television too.

I have to add Bill Blackburn to the list. He seemed to pop up all over the Enterprise and he never spoke a single word.

K.L. Smith as the Klingon in Elaan of Troyius. He only appears on the Enterprise viewscreen for a few moments, but he definitely portrays a badass Klingon.

Yup. Shras, I believe. His Austrian accent was perfectly alien and his exchange of dialogue with Spock, rebuking him for using logic, is a highlight of the entire series.

Kenneth Lavelle Smith for the uninitiated and his real appearance was somewhat a must for me to see for years and eventually I worked out which army guard he was in The Invaders episode Doomsday Minus One!

Vic Perrin was also pretty great as both versions of Tharn in "Mirror, Mirror."
Agreed! He had a great look, and I like how he played his confusion when Kirk ordered that he was going to stop torturing Chekov.
    Yes! I wish he'd returned.

Julie Parrish was pretty good as Miss Piper in "The Menagerie, Part I." She nailed the line "She simply mentioned that she knew you, sir" when she was teasing Kirk in Commodore Mendez's office.

Yes, and Kirk’s bodyguard gives Spock’s bodyguard a wary look when they first meet as if to say “Don’t try anything, buddy.”

Barbara Babcock's voice work as the Tholian, the Beta 5 computer, etc.

Elizabeth Rogers as Lt. Palmer and the voice of the universal translator for the Companion.

Second Julie Parrish as Miss Piper, and totally agree about Reggie Nalder.

Given the speculation involved, April Tatro as the human form of Isis probably deserves recognition!

I like Barry Russo as Commodore Wesley, if that part's small enough to mention here.

John Harmon as Rodent, the homeless man who accidentally dematerializes himself with McCoy's phaser.

With all that justified paranoia, it must be REALLY tough to get a solid night's sleep in the Mirror Universe. :rommie:
