Sakonna already saved Cold Front, so it's between Fury and Shockwave Part I.

So it really isn't much choice - Fury is the real stinker here and deserves to lose.

I was excited that the producers had decided to bring Kes back way back when, but this was an insult to her character. It feels like the episode was written by someone who had never seen an episode of VOY up to that point, as it wasn't consistent with what we knew of Kes whilst she had been on the show.

I have been rooting for "Fury" from the beginning, so this is a perfect winner for me. I just happened to rewatch "The Gift" earlier this week and was struck by what a wonderful exit it was for Kes, and how perfectly it honored her character. (I always hated the choice to write her out, but, once the choice was made, it's hard to imagine a better way to have gone about it). When I heard she was coming back for an ep years later, I was actively excited. When I heard she was coming back as a villain, I was still actively excited.

And then when I saw the actual slop they made of that idea... UGH. Just dreadful. And it retroactively ruins "The Gift"!

Not to mention, THE CONTENTION THAT THE CHARACTERS JUST FORGOT ALL THESE EVENTS until they were reminded of them again by Kes' attack. Oh yeah, it slipped my mind that one of our closest compatriots traveled back in time to kill us all! I mean, you can't be expected to remember everything, can you?
