walk we were doing for St. Pat's Day was called off because of the virus. But we did it anyway with a group of friends since it was an early birthday celebration for me. And then to a local eating place. It was nice to do these normal things with friends!

Hubby and I managed to pick up groceries for the week--had to go to two different stores, but it was relatively easy. There are four large grocery stores within 10 minutes drive from my house, so we have no trouble getting supplied.

Good morning, SINGING BIRDS woke me up today!
when I woke up ---- about 830pm .. my neighbor had text me to come over 4 hours ago for the steak he was cooking.. I was like damn.. --- so he had put it in tupperware and in the refrigerator the wave for a minute = back to hot and he killed this steak I have to have him cook more often, I have been doing the cooking and stuff for us.. it was such awesomeness .. and no salt added he knew this time not to put salt on it cause I don't eat salt things..steak and onions and some non-salt seasoning -- OMG so damn good. that was wake up today--
That's cool. I try to talk to my remote and it makes a rude noise at me.
I have been calling or face booking and e mailing all my family and friends to make sure they are all okay. It has been great to hear from them and get caught up on their lives. It is sad so much is going on right now. But good to have a reason to check in you know? Any of you doing that as well?
Texted one sister, called my Mom and my other sister called me. My best friend, who lives on the east coast, texts me every day or two. I worry about my Mom, who is 86, and my friend, who is in her 60s but is in extremely poor health. But it's nice that my friend checks in with me so often. She has hearing problems and can't use the phone, so texting is a great way for us to chat.
Today is my birthday and my best friend couldn't be with me today so she sent me some flowers and a balloon! I am so happy right now! I will never forget this birthday
