Spoilers Starship Design in Star Trek: Picard

I could, quite easily

Looking at your cap, it's still not clear. I'd say a 5 or 6...8 is out. Probably is a 5, but they didn't do a lot to separate the lower part to make it visually clear.

It definitely looks like a Sovereign class and the reg is 75710, you can see where the bottom of the five sticks out so it can't be a six.

Could be four nacelles but its impossible to tell from the picture, probably just two.

Remember that variant of the Constitution-class we saw as a model in Season 1 or 2 of TNG where the warp nacelles were glued on sideways and there was a cutout in the rim of the saucer section to create what may have been another shuttle bay or cargo bay? Maybe this is the Sovereign-class version of that variant.

Definitely era-appropriate nacelles there, and definitely sideways. But there's no bow cutout in the saucer. We haven't seen this one before.

Yup. But still, the silhouette is something we haven't seen before, not even in an Eaves sketchbook.

But it could still be an Eaves design minimally modified. He's done lots of those mods, including the one for Picard's collection of plaques and awards. It just doesn't look like an onscreen Eaves design of any sort.

So, apparently another bit of conventional fandom wisdom blown out of water: the Stargazer wasn't Picard's first assignment (and indeed never was said to have been). Whether she was an early assignment is still unknown: for all we know, Picard got to command her a full two years before he screwed up and lost her.

And the ship in the pic would appear to have been a Sovereign after all. A bit of artistic license, or a variant? We decide... For now.

That does look like a post Nemesis Sovereign class..

And the Sovereign Class has been described both as a Explorer Type 2 and a Heavy Cruiser in different documents.
