Every other time he faced the Borg in between he had the Enterprise and crew backing him up, and he still showed many signs of PTSD.

Plus these days he's feeling much more vulnerable.

It's not an argument that he shouldn't have PTSD, it's an argument that Federation medicine would be very good at treating it without his condition.

Wow, Bernd over EAS gave this episode an 8.
And even called it the best episode in 15 years

So Earth is right by the Beta Quadrant? Interesting. Never paid attention to theoretical Trek maps.
It's in alpha half the year and beta the other half of the year

I've been wondering if Narek's feelings for Soji were real, and after this episode it definitely looks like they were not.
Then why did he cry? I think he allowed her to escape while pretending to still be on Narissa's side.

To say nothing about the embarrassing scene with the Klingon Chancellor.
I was nervous! - No. You were incompetent.

my initial thought was to say ‘yeah but that wasn’t sexual,’ but then I remembered that in Trek, everything is sexual to someone :D
Just like that choke wasn't sexual.

The actor is part of the main cast and listed in the opening credits. Of course in this post Game of Thrones world that doesn’t mean he is safe.

Those of us who are regular watchers of British TV on PBS have long known that main cast can be killed off anytime since Spooks (screened in the US as MI-5) killed off a main cast member in the second episode of the first season. That character was put inside a boiling frying fan before being shot in the head. Now that's a brutal way to go:shrug::shrug::sigh::sigh:

What do you expect? She's a Space Millennial.
(Drink's on me this time. )
Ah, now I see. Alcoholism here I come.:rommie:

Soji SMASH!
Indeed, with more smashing to come, I expect.

See here for my thoughts on that.
Interesting. I've been expecting, or hoping, that this series will end with a renaissance of the Federation and Starfleet's ideals, with Picard as the moral authority figure-- either as Commander Starfleet or the Federation President. But perhaps he'll assume more of a Dalai Lama role.

There is no question that the Federation and Starfleet will owe Picard big time when all is said and done.

Just how much pull that will get him remains to be seen.

No doubt that heads will roll in Starfleet and the Federations top ranks.
