NO GODDAMN TUVIX IN THIS FORUM--Take it to Voyager.
Raffi: "Agnes, what are you doing with the phaser rifle? Put it down!"and justifying it by telling the dying victims that "she know stuf"
and justifying it by telling the dying victims that "she know stuf"
Ok, ok, "one note" was bad phrasing. I just meant that they shouldn't overuse the "wide-eyed, guileless naivete" aspect. I don't think they will. So far it's been charming. (I didn't get one? Are we still pretending?)
Raffi: "Agnes, what are you doing with the phaser rifle? Put it down!"
Jurati: "I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die."
LOLVictim: Arrgh!!!
Jurati: If only you knew what I know!
I too find it charming. But anyone clueless enough to ask "Are we still pretending?" in the middle of an operation is a bit of a liability, no matter how good he is with a sword.
Oh, yeah, turn it into a nice little locked room murder mystery, with the crew disappearing one by one (joined by Seven, Soji and perhaps even Narek if he has a change of heart, so that we have as many people as possible), watching as everybody starts suspecting everybody else and they slowly turn crazy and terrified, until only Jurati and Picard remain at the end. The season would end with her raising a phaser at him, the episode would fade to black and we'd hear a single phaser shot, after which the words "To be continued..." would appear. Complete with Ron Jones' cliffhanger soundtrack from The Best of Both Worlds.Maybe Jurati will continue killing people one by one for the next of the season...
Yes, Janeway wouldn't kill a Vidiian thief to get Neelix' lungs back but she didn't have such scruples when it came to sacrificing Tuvix' life who had committed no crime, except the crime of existing which is basically the same crime that Nazis were charging the Jews with. I can't believe that I am the only one to see something wrong in that.

Well, the kid was raised under Absolute Candor. Not exactly the best training for undercover work.
Ceti eels can burn in Grek'thor.
TBF I dislike most of those examples save for the ear slug thing thing and that didn't happen every other episode
The cuffs were rigged so she could break out of them. Raffi showed her how in the planning scene.I loved it when Seven snapped those handcuffs (she's no longer apologizing for being Borg).
