Quark's bar... so it's no longer on DS9?
It’s probably a franchise now.
I've gotta give to the writers for that one. They really stuck with VOY-era continuity and deserve credit.
Well, Kirsten Beyer did write like 90% of the post-Season 7 Voyager novels. She knows her Voyager lore.

Mr. Vop’s species was Beta Annari, Voyager had a species just named Annari that did look reptilian

Jurati: "Hey guys. So, I, being an inept cyberneticist, accidentally botched some of the care for Doctor Maddox. And then, when the EMH came online to fix him, he said something about his 'ethical subroutines' glitching out. Then he shut off all the recording equipment, deleted all files prior to this, and murdered Bruce. Then he tried to murder me, but I managed to destroy him with my sciencey skills."

We do have that publicity shot featuring Jurati in a mindmeld with someone likely Oh.

One possibility is that she is under control.

Another is that she is not. What did Jurati learn?

Picard: "Well, I barely know you, but you seem nice. So sure, I believe you!"

Nice to see Peter Sellers playing Picard there.

I dunno if the middle of a ruthless gangster stand off is exactly the time and the place to have that "you've been lying to me?" conversation with one of your team. Can't that wait?

I think murder is still a life imprisonment sentence in the Federation. Jurati better really be mind controlled (and it didn't sound like it, she sounded she was convinced to join the Zhat Vash going by her words), or she'll be spending the rest of her life in prison.

Never wouldda happened with his old crew.

It seems they may just go the mind control route of Agnes after all, otherwise I don't see how her character can possibly continue without going to jail for a very long time. If so, not a fan that Vulcans can just mind meld people into becoming criminals (as introduced by Voyager). You think people would be a lot more afraid of Vulcans if they can do that anytime they want, like Lt. Stiles.

I like how the mercenary Captain Rios is a great team player in all of this.

Not much Hans Solo-style grumpyboots reservations as he presents himself to some gangsters to be vaporised whilst dressed as Liberace.

Picard has got value for money there.

I would still think given his history (watching his captain get murdered on a ship) and the possibility he picks up shady passengers that he has cameras all over his ship, which wouldn't be good for Agnes.
