As you can see from his signature, for this guy if the creators say something is in continuity even when it violates every single thing in its predecessors, he'll say that it's "factually" in continuity. If a movie keeps all the actors, and continues directly from the events of the last, but the creators haven't said anything about the continuity, he will say it's not in continuity.
Not a reasonable person, I don't recommend engaging.
Everything you just said is wrong.
I do put a lot of stock in Word of God, but there is nothing unreasonable about that... and I also put just as much stock in what we're shown onscreen.
And the reason that the re-use of actors isn't an automatic indicator of continuity is that we've seen numerous instances over the years of actors playing different versions of the same character in different, unconnected films.
