Don't have to go far

Oh yes, sometimes if I want a good laugh I go back through the Kelvin Enterprise size thread from 2009, good times.
I took about 10+ year sabbatical from TrekBBS right after ENT ended, so I missed the whole hoopla around ST09. You have a link to that thread? I suppose I can find it myself, but I'm lazyOh yes, sometimes if I want a good laugh I go back through the Kelvin Enterprise size thread from 2009, good times.
That is what I was expecting in the comic, being an Admiral he can pick whatever ship he wants to head up the rescue fleet and the Enterprise E would make the most sense if it is still in service which it should be.Star Trek Online just revealed images of the new “post Nemesis” skin for the E. it’ll be cool to see that in Picard. Eaves is the designer so I doubt they would mess up that ship that badly.

Much of the saucer section was badly damaged in the Briar patch so it will be interesting to see what changes are made if we do see it.
I tried looking for it but its buried pretty deep, it is also ridiculously long and I must warn you that it contains diagrams.I took about 10+ year sabbatical from TrekBBS right after ENT ended, so I missed the whole hoopla around ST09. Ah nvm then its been at least 20 years since I watched it.We saw the front of the saucer under repair at the end of Nemesis..nothing was changed.
No one considers them canon. Not the writers, not the producers. Just because we haven't see any contradictions yet, doesn't mean we won't get one right there in episode 3. "Hey Raffi, I haven't seen you since you have been my second in command on USS Derivative..."

Lots and lots of diagrams.
The denial was so great you could practically eat it and it went on for years.
Um no that is definitely not it.I think this is it: https://www.trekbbs.com/threads/here-it-is-no-bloody-a-b-c-or-d.73387/
Pretty short at only 53 pages![]()

I just had a longer look and I cant find any of them (it was closed and recreated at least twice as I recall) so it may have been deleted outright.I think this is it: https://www.trekbbs.com/threads/here-it-is-no-bloody-a-b-c-or-d.73387/

It's overall darker, has the E-D style aztek panels and the pylons are wider and slightly higher.
Beyond that..no..not much different.
Never liked the flattened-out look of the E. Nothing on anyone who likes it.
It always looked like a letter opener to me.
I have no fucking idea what they were thinking with those old STO designs. Many of the newer ones are pretty decent, but the early ones are utterly horrendous in way that is hard to explain by normal human incompetence.![]()
Ooh, I like the Imperial variant. Make that new canon E-E![]()

No need for families which meant a lot of space was saved and the ship is more streamlined because of it.I found it to be an extraordinarily jarring transition the first time I saw it on screen back in 96
Like..I had grown up with 1701-D and to wrap my brain around that being the Enterprise was super hard
