They put the Starfleet command on the wrong side of the bridge in the shot where Dahj is trying to find Picard. It should be on the right side, in that bay. also appears to be a modern day Satellite image.
Treasure Island doesn't change much in 300 years :P. Probably wasn't worth the FX budget to completely rebuild San Francisco for such a short scene. Also I spot Alameda.
I really like Jean-Luc's Dream Sequence at the beginning ... Partly because all its imperfections, mess with many folks preconceived notions as to how it should be properly portrayed. Kinda like how I feel about how DISCOVERY has messed with my preconceived notions of what the Enterprise should look like.
Is Picard supposed to be in his 90s at this point? Anyway, I’m in my mid 50s and can’t run up stairs anymore.
That Ferengi sign on the Boston skyline? It's a wine lable https://memory-alpha.fandom.com/wiki/Ferengi_wine The Kasidy Yates shipping logo is also from DS9
I loved the first ep so much I'm afraid to get into any online discussion and get into any negativity on this one. I already ordered some Picard merch and got all access I'm just going to enjoy the show and try to only pop in if there is anything controversial like a Tuvix or Jellico moment. So far though really liking the story and how they didn't just download Data into B4, the little references and connections to the old show and using the supernova as set up. I'm lovin' it
No it cant be as I never actually read that series and I am pretty sure it was the J not the F. Its no big deal though.
I have a much simpler rule. I dont use any of them and never will. I had a Facebook account once to help diagnose my niece's own Facebook issues but I never actually posted anything so I deleted the account. No Facebook No Twitter No Instagram I tend to avoid Youtube as well for the most part. They end up being echo chambers or clickbait.
Regarding Starfleet HQ being on the wrong side of the bridge... To be fair, this is decades after the Breen attack on Earth, so parts of it may have just been built on the other side due to being easier than repairing. Plus, I'm sure it could have expanded simply because of how large that organization is. Another thing... Picard was at the Archives. It may be on the outskirts of HQ, or even on the other side of the bridge. We've never seen the Archives before, so we have no basis for comparison. Might even have been built/created LONG after the events of NEMESIS.
SFC is still on the other side, you see it in an establishing shot in this very episode. Whoever editing the satellite scene just did it wrong.
