Oh man, that sentence triggers my VOY PTSD“if we could only do (insert technobabble) then we could fix this”.

Can it still lower Federation defenses and attack with its own will? If so, then I think it would be banned.
Yes. Showing B4 in the drawer was the perfect way to keep people from wondering, "But what about B4?" They answered a lingering question from the "previous" installment and now we can just forget about him.
Works for me!
Since when did the Federation get obsessed with robots anyway? Don’t they have enough people as it is for the jobs?
Whenever B4's not on screen, all the other characters should be asking, "Where's B4?"
But the cold hard truth of the matter, in regards to Dahj, they gave me more to care about in 45 minutes than they have Michael Burnham in two seasons of Discovery.
Except the writing - and Isa Briones - sell it 100%.
DS9 had many other episodes!
Plus, it's far easier to reprogram a hologram than to reset an entire being like Data (who I'm sure didn't have a reset button installed like C3POWould a sentient hologram be a "Synth," though? It's light beams and force fields and not a physical being that's part or all technology taken from past scientists who toyed with creating an artificial human being.
No, it wouldn't be. Needless references to characters not appearing in the show or having any connection to its events are pointless and shouldn't happen.
It’s vastly better than Discovery and since you like that, you’ll love this.
If Kurtzman had anything to do with this, he’s redeemed himself in my eyes. If he didn’t, I hope he stays away going forward, too. Either way, they should just keep doing what they’re doing.
I'm curious of what you thought of the episode considering you spoiled yourself of so much of it!!
So....?
(forgive me if you already answered this, but this thread is like a runaway train at this point.)
Not the first thing I would think of, but there will always be fanfic-ers who default to that, no matter the era in question. The popular fanfic-ers on this board are a little more sophisticated than that. And the ones on AO3 seem more interested in romance, so...Oh boy! More evil Starfleet and Section 31 fan fiction headed our way!![]()
Do you suppose that the Daystrom Institute was ordered by Starfleet to dismantle B4 so he couldn't cause trouble?
I think Discovery could learn a lot from "Remembrance".
