Picard to drop in the MORNING of Jan 23rd

I'm very much looking forward to the end of March.

I'd like to try binge watching the whole season in a day or two, especially if what I've heard is true...
...and the show really is a slow burn with an unfulfilling first episode.

If however, I start getting too many spoilery headlines, I may just have to jump in and start watching weekly.

Either way, it's exciting times.

Yeah but can you imagie waiting a year after "mr worf.. fire". An season finale liek that would be brutal.
At least nowadays there's other stuff to watch, including at least two other Star Trek series. Back in 1990 we were stuck with nothing but reruns for three months.

I told everyone this is a big practical joke. Boy will everyone be shocked when they click onto Picard to see Patrick Stewart seating next to Alec Peters on one of sets saying something like. "We know you were expecting something else but SURPRISE! We got something we think you will enjoy even more. The pilot episode you have all been wanting. Welcome to the world of Star Trek:Axanar!"

Noo! Work just called and canceled my home office approval for today. I hate you IT!

New plan is to attend this meeting at 00:00 am PST / 09:00 am CET, shout everyone down as fast as possible, grab my keys, drive home and watch Picard at 10:30 CET

So comes out on the 24th on Amazon?

Why? Netflix doesn't have this problem with Discovery.

T - one hour and counting... The hall is rented, the orchestra engaged. It's now time to see if Picard can dance.

Yeah they do, it's exactly the same. It airs Thursday nights on CBSAA, then it's available on the Friday morning on Netflix. In the UK at least.

But in this case Picard is released at midnight on CBSAA. About 19-20 hours earlier than DSC was released. So the delay is significantly longer if Picard is not released until Friday morning on Amazon.

Yeah. With Discovery, and other programs that air in USA at 8-9 pm I was asleep when they aired. And then all I had to do was stay spoiler-free for one workday and then after I got home I could watch the episode. But now with the midnight CBSAA release I have to stay spoiler free for one full day and one workday. So it is a lot longer wait.
