Yep, about 17 hours from this point (10 am) for those of us on the East Coast.

In a way I will get episode 2 earlier than I get episode 1. I'm taking a family trip to Hawaii next week so Episode 2 is dropping at 10:01 PM Hawaii Time Wednesday. Can't Wait. :D

Here is a scary thought... what is they end picard season 1 on a major cliffhanger but this time instead of 3 month wait like BOTW we have a 9-12 month wait. Nah.. they'd never do that.

That's what streaming is now though. It took more than a year to get Season 2 of Lost in Space, for example.

Yeah but can you imagie waiting a year after "mr worf.. fire". An season finale liek that would be brutal.

While Season 2 of Lost in Space was good, it wasn't an almost two year wait 'good'.

You're right, but I still enjoyed it. Heck, we don't even have a date for Discovery yet and we are approaching a year since that season 2 finale.

I actually lost track of it and ended up having to watch the last two episodes of Season 1 to refresh my memory.

I had to do that with LIS. When I know when Discovery premieres, I'm going to do a rewatch of Season 2. Then I might do a full series rewatch but Season 2 tonally is different than Season 1 so it really doesn't matter.

Same here, except I'm a bit older. I remember being SOOOO stoked for the premiere, saying that it was beyond exciting to be getting back weekly adventures instead of movies every 2-3 years.

This is probably the most anticipation I've felt for new Trek since then.

Same here. I had a friend in high school who had gotten a copy of the series bible for TNG at a con and I made a copy and read that whole thing and loved what I saw. Was there with VCR ready when the show started.

While Encounter at Farpoint wasn't perfect, I loved having STar Trek back on TV and loved the charcter of Q and the idea of putting humanity on trial. The farpoint station stuff though was meh but was still great to see trek back on TV.

To think picard is going to be back on TV again is just amazing to think about.... alarm set for 3:01am eastern. Work will have to deal with me dragging tomorrow.
