If you've got nothing else to do today, you might spend four hours with Kev gushing over the latest Star Wars (spoilers, duh):

While the New Year's Babble Eve won't be online for a few more days (if anybody here's going to see it, have fun), Kev's YT has another Classic BabbleVision (#99):

And Kev's working on the script for the Mallrats sequel again? Universal is handling the European distribution of Reboot, so it looks like he used his recent dealings to get them on board again.

Just started to watch the Jay & Silent Bob Reboot and turned it off after 15 minutes or so.

I've eithr gotten to old for his style of humor or it just wasn't funny anymore. I get the concept of the movie but somehow it just doesn't work.. i haven't laughed once in those few minutes and barely cracked a smile so why sit through it in hopes of it picking up?

I fear Smith has directed himself into a corner moviewise - he got his nose bloodied when he ventured out of his comfort zone and is coming back to the well and the only problem is that the well has dried up (I'm such a poet :) ).

I still am a huge Smith fan, his public speaking engagements are gold and so are his interviews (especially when he appeared a few times on Colbert, you have to see him speak about his heart attack - a 10 minute straight monologue that was funny, touching and interesting, quintessential Kevin Smith) but i guess i'm done with his movies.

At least i still love his original Jersey universe movies and still occasionally pull them once in a while (Dogma and Chasing Amy are my favorites) but i guess i'm done with his movies if they remain at that level.

For those who haven't heard yet, Ralph Garman's going through a divorce right now, but it's a friendly parting, so much so that Ralph got his future ex-wife to co-host the Ralph Report some times, like in this free edition:

I watched the reboot a few days ago and really liked it. I also watched Dogma and didn’t like it at all.

I finished watching Reboot last night. Not great, but much better than I thought it would be. I laughed.

I watched it last night and trust me it doesn't get any better. It was almost unbearable, some of the sequences were just awful. The part with the Ku-Klux Klan, what was the point of that? And I began actually moaning outloud at the constant in-joke "gags" and looking at the camera.

If others enjoyed it fair enough, but just to say I really didn't.

And Mewes' face... don't do drugs, kids.
