The rest of the magazine scans have been released!

Mark my words. That sash is going to complete by the end of the season like merit badges in the Scouts.

Blue's the skilled swordsman, yellow's the sharpshooter, green is fast, and pink is skilled in aikido

The gem on the chest also can represent a car on the road/sash

    Red's car

The clear plastic look seems to be a successor to this year YokuRyu

Okay, so a car theme and a crystal theme. The name is definitely derived from kirameku or kirakira, meaning sparkling; the helmets and shoulder pads are very kirakira. And there's a slogan superimposed, "Five Kirakira, Not One Less."

I still can't figure out what the "pointy ears" on the helmets are supposed to be, unless they're fins or something.

Can someone translate the callouts explaining the buttons on the wrist unit/changer? I'm guessing the top one is for morphing, the car symbol is for summoning their mecha, the talk symbol is for comms, and the gem symbol is for whatever crystal-based powers they have, perhaps summoning their weapons.

The watermark is so the uploader can tell who took their images

    It’s a really small morpher/changer. Apparently there’s an unofficial pattern/speculation that even numbered sentai’s lack a gimmick

I don’t see any keys or engine soul type collectible

    Functions of the changer are

    Chat
    Morph
    Call Zord

Gem button right now is called "the mysterious button" and its probably for searching for more kiramei stones. Probably want to keep some details secret right now

The magic circle shows the mecha. So we have a sports car, a shovel excavator, helicopter, jet, and crane

Seems like the gemstones would be the collectibles, if anything.

Oh, so it's not all cars. And at least Blue and Pink have solid streaks (contrails?) on their sashes instead of the dashed lines suggesting lane dividers.

Zero-One: Big episode this week, bringing the MetsuboJinrai.net plotline to a climax much sooner than I expected, with the conclusion next week. Looks like Izu's on the verge of Singularity, so she may go through a major character change next week.

I suspect Aruto may as well -- I wouldn't be surprised if he got kicked out as company president. It looks like we're heading into an arc where Zaia takes over as the main threat, and taking over Hiden seems to be part of their plan.

Ending the Metsubo-etc. arc might be good for Fuwa as well. I'm getting a little tired of his one-note "I live for revenge" characterization, and eliminating the main target of his hatred might allow him to grow in a new direction.

    Zero-one episode 15.

Wow that felt like a season finale. It provided a lot of memorable moments like Izu being hurt and Aruto doing a pretty cool henshin. It looked a bit old school too. It had a classic Kamen Rider feel to it.

Izu just shows up in front of Jin to essentially rub it in his face that Horobi was destroyed? That was weird.

I noticed a theme going on in the episode. Each group had someone that was hurt

    Izu
    Horobi
    Fuwa

In half an hour we killed shut down Horobi, damaged Izu, fought a newly-online Magear army, and debuted another Zero-One upgrade after he just got one a couple of weeks ago. Oh, and we got a night fight! ^__^

Jin was infected by Izu's programming when he attacked her, which will eventually bring him to their side?

    Photoshoot with Noa Tsurushima

    Ryuusoulger episode 38

I was a bit thrown off by character I've never seen. Yuno is from the Ryuusoulger movie which has not been subbed yet.

Looks like we're cranking out one last toy before the end of the year. The Ryusoul Calibur is meant to be shared with the other Ryuusoulger like the Shinkenger "Elvis" coat.

The last quarter new weapon looks to be the new thing for Sentai recently. From the sword in Ninninger to the Lupin Magnum to now the Ryusoul Calibur.

Also noticed we’re back to the dam location just straight after Zero-one

Fuwa’s blood probably hasn’t even had time to dry yet!

It was obvious right off that the answer was for Koh and Canalo to pull out the sword together. The message in Sentai is almost always about the power of teamwork and friendship. And it was kind of contrived that they didn't try pulling it out together right off the bat, because that's a completely natural thing for two people in that situation to attempt. It's annoying when a story forces its characters to overlook a completely obvious option so that it can be a surprise when they finally figure it out later.

Anyway, since they did have to draw it together, I was expecting the new form to be something that merged the two of them into one body, like Kamen Rider Cross-Z Build or the three-person Patren Ugou. Instead, it just gives them a fancy cloak and lets them use their Kishiryuu's powers for themselves, apparently.

Kreon getting to tell off Gachileus must've been a dream come true.

Kiramager starts on March 8th. That should give Ryuusoulger a few more episodes to add to it's count

They're really going all out with the sparkly.

Looks like Green and Pink are female this time, as in Kyuranger. This is only the second female Sentai Green, or at least the second regular one. (I hesitate to count MidoNinger from Ninninger's reunion special, since that was a male spirit possessing a woman's body.) Before then, non-pink female Rangers on the core team were almost always yellow, blue, or white, the only exception being Go-On Silver (who shares "Sixth Ranger" status with her brother Go-On Gold). Yet now we get two female Greens only three years apart. Interesting.

I wonder if the 2021 season will have violet on the team as a girl this time.

We've had Geki Violet, KyoryuViolet and RyuuCommander so far

    News article mentioning Kiramager

News article also mentionsthat the Mashin are sentient, and act as partners as well as vehicles for the rangers, and can be quite comical.

A magazine scans mentions an "episode 0" . It will be shown alongside Ryuusoulger VS Lupinranger VS Patranger

It will tell the origins of the Kiramei Stone

Also ToQ 7go and ZyuohCondor in the "Returns" movies, and arguably Nada/Gaisorg for the one episode where he was a Ryusoulger.

Just once, I'd like to see the Sixth Ranger be female and give the team an even 3/3 split. Heck, just once I'd like the Red Ranger to be female (the main one -- Princess ShinkenRed doesn't count). There have been a number of teams where a female member was the nominal leader -- Kakuranger, Timeranger, eventually Gekiranger (and Dekaranger if you ask Umeko) -- but the male Red Ranger has still been the lead character. We've finally gotten a regular female Kamen Rider in the Reiwa Era; now the ball's in Sentai's court.

    Official website is up

    https://www.tv-asahi.co.jp/kiramager/

    Staff members

Naruhisa Arakawa (Super Sentai Saikyo Battle, Gokaiger, Dekaranger) as writer, Kyohei Yamaguchi (Fourze, Gaim, Drive...) as director.

Hideaki Tsukada, the man behind GaoRanger and various Kamen Rider series will return as chief producer for this series.

    Episode 0 plot

    Basic summary of the series

    The yearly team photo

So is there where the infinity stones ended up? LOL

One of the early hints for the series was "Avengers"

They even mention the infinity stones on the series' introduction text from the official page.

This series seems to have assembled a more experienced team compared to Ryuusoulger. They're also using a talent from Kamen Rider with Kyohei Yamaguchi directing.

I thought I'd heard that Junko Komura (Zyuohger, LvP) was the head writer. I'm both disappointed and pleased, because Arakawa is another of my favorite Sentai writers. Well, maybe Komura will be a secondary writer as she was on Arakawa's Gokaiger and Akibaranger.

The site also says the composer is a newcomer named Junichi Matsumoto, not Koutarou Nakagawa (Gaoranger, Boukenger) as initially rumored.

I used Google Translate on the webpage. It says the KiramaStones "resonate with the warrior's personality" and transform into the Majin, which are sentient vehicles that bond with their partners, which sounds like the Engines in Go-Onger. Whereas the description of "shining" heroes fighting a "dark" enemy trying to steal radiance is reminiscent of ToQger and its enemy the Shadow Line.

It sounds like the origin story is in the movie being released before the season, which means we won't get to see it until it comes out on video and gets dubbed, months after the series begins. I had the same experience with Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie. And, come to think of it, the whole audience had that experience with Power Rangers Samurai, which inexplicably delayed broadcast of its 2-part series premiere for months.

    Ryuusoulger episode 39.

    It's Christmas!

This episode was directed by Koichi Sakamoto. The stunt coordinator for various Power Ranger and sentai series.

We get some nice action scenes and Asuna wears the Christmas miniskirt. We also learn to never mess with her cake.

I've never watch the live action version of Sailor Moon but the guest for this episode use to be in Sailor Moon. There was one or two references to her past role

I noticed that Ui has been absent for two episodes too. I wonder if the actress was busy or got a cold.

Koh senses a disturbance in the force....er darker times are ahead too since we've got about 8 weeks left. Super Sentai and Kamen Rider take New Years off.

I noticed both Zero-One and Ryuusoulger had a death last week. Jin and then Gachillius

It's interesting how the villains' plan to get rid of Christmas was to fast-forward a week and turn all the Xmas stuff into what I assume is traditional Japanese New Year paraphernalia. It's always interesting to see the contrast in Sentai's annual holiday episodes -- a heavily Westernized Christmas celebration one week (although with Japanese touches like the Christmas cakes and the "traditional" fried-chicken Christmas dinner) and a very Japanese New Year's celebration the next (although using the Western calendar).

Also a frequent director for Super Sentai, Kamen Rider, and related stuff, particularly movies. He does really impressive action.

You mean Horobi, who sacrificed himself in service of Jin's Singularity.

    Blue- The loner
    Green- The girly girl

    Red- Laid back?
    Pink- Graceful? Motherly?

Arakawa's characters tend to have pretty rich, distinctive personalities, which is what I like about his work. His Blues do all tend to be aloof or arrogant loners (like many other male Blues in Sentai history), but the other characters aren't as easy to cubbyhole.

Also a creep who likes upskirt shots of the female cast way too much.
