Star Trek continuing

I think this is right:
Enterprise
"The Cage," pilot episode of the original series
Discovery
Star Trek
Star Trek (animated)
ST The Next Generation
Deep Space Nine and Voyaver are kind of concurrent, I think.

Am leaving out a kind of spoiler re Discovery and the end of its second season in case you haven't watched. It affects chronology and has been much reported, but I'll remain silent here.

And welcome to the BBS, I hope it's enjoyable for you.

Glad to be here , i have to admit that my favourite show is the next generation with picard and i hope the new show "Picard" will be as good as the next generation .

I hope that a lot too. I am an oldie -- saw TOS (original series) supposedly as a baby, but definitely a 70s syndication zealot.

The showrunner for season 1 of Picard was Michale Chabon, a terrific, humane writer. I wasn't a big fan of Discovery, so I'm gettin my hopes up for Picard.

Enterprise
Discovery 1-2
Kelvin Universe movies 1-3 (alternate timeline)
The Original Series
The Animated Series
Movies I-VII
The Next Generation*
Deep Space Nine*
Movies VIII-IX**
Voyager*
Movie X
Picard

*there's some overlap between TNG, DS9 and Voyager
**First Contact takes place during the era of DS9, Insurrection just after.

Also watching the 2009 Star Trek movie might be an idea before seeing Picard, as although it's mostly an alternate reality, a huge part of the Picard backstory happens in a brief prime universe scene that informs the chaos in the altered past.

There's also Short Treks, which take place around Discovery and TOS mainly, but the last one of the second batch (coming early next year) is a prequel to Picard.
