Update:
This is an aft-ventral 3/4 view of the Assiduous-Class without the nacelles and their connecting pylons drawn, as their placement would obstruct the details I wished to exhibit.

I really like this no nacelle look, have you considered a variant where the warp drive is integrated into the main hull?

I did, but did not opt it, as it didn't seem to fit what I wanted. But one never knows if I would explore the shape again, but without them.

Yeah, a Miranda update needs nacelles, without them his one goes more into a Defiant direction which obviously is something completely different.

But it's a great design with and without nacelles, I like it a lot.

One question because I find it hard to visualize a ship's size, are the nacelles supposed to be the same size as the Enterprise D's or are they a different scale (like the smaller D style nacelles on the Melbourne?)

The nacelles are not galaxy size (they are smaller), and they are not galaxy-class types. The warp grill is on the inner sides of the nacelles (that's why you do not see them), rather than going around as in the galaxy-class. So similar, but not the same. I envision it as another nacelle-type in the same family as the Galaxy's ones. Probably produced by the same manufacturer.
