Do cats sometimes just make weird noises for the sake of making them? Out of nowhere my cat started meowing like he was possessed by a demon. It was a sound I hadn't heard before from him. I went to grab my phone to record it, but he had already stopped and is meowing normally again like nothing happened.

We had a black cat when I was young. Not a pure Burmese, but close. We could hear her yowling a half a block away from the house in summer.
