Do we know which two Short Treks will be the animated installments?

I tried to find a dedicated Short Treks thread to no avail; apologies if I missed something obvious along the way.

I’m curious if context clues and/or official word have indicated to us which of the six “second season” Short Treks are the animated installments. Unless something has changed while I’ve been away, I believe the idea was that four would be live action and two would be drawn.

I’m guessing numbers 4 and 5.

episode 2 is probably the one with Pike in custody seen in the trailer, and episode 3 is the tribble episode.
The final episode is most likely the Picard prequel since it airs a couple weeks before it in January, plus the title is a reference to Romulus and Remus

“Ephraim and Dot” sounds like an animated episode. Wasn’t Ephraim the name of the Tardigrade that was on Discovery?

I think the 2nd episode, The Trouble With Edward, is the tribble episode. But I agree, the 2 out on December 12 are probably the animated ones.

I think at one time they were considering making the Tardigrade part of the bridge crew, and in that case he would have been called Ephraim.

I've heard that a bunch of times....and I don't doubt that it was on the table at some point.

That said, this idea seems like it would have been.......BAD.......to put it mildly.

Figured I'd post confirmation in my thread here that what several posters presumed has indeed been verified. TrekCore interviewed Kurtzman, Kadin, and Paradise at PaleyFest and this exchange occurred:

TREKCORE: With the Short Treks, we have the three Pike ones (“Q & A,” “The Trouble with Edward,” “Ask Not”) and the Star Trek: Picard prequel (“Children of Mars”). The December ones (“The Girl who Made the Stars,” “Ephraim and Dot”) are the two animated shorts, right?

KURTZMAN: Yes.

Pretty sure The Orville has a Tardigrade as a member of her crew. Instead of CGI, it's a guy in a suit.

Plus hope, great character interaction, optimism for the future, well executed humor, exploration as more than a after thought.

Everything Discovery lacks.

You know, Roddenberry's vision.
Those are all Matters of Opinion... not facts.

Gene's "vision" was heavily supplemented by several other folks right from the get go.

DISCOVERY is just as valid in those respects as any of the other series over the last 50-some odd years.
