Fox doesn't appear to be using much force towards Anemiar VII in any of his exchanges.

Just because Fox says he "means to get it" - it doesn't necessarily imply the use of force to make them comply.

However you claimed he stated he was there to FORCE them into a Treaty - which he never said; and further IF you read all the dialogue of his from the transcipt, he is clearly trying to negotiate, and is hardly being heavy handed UNTIL he's told he's going to be killed.

Depends on the situation, but ignoring a code 710 hardly equates to forcing them to do anything. And even in the context of the story, Anon wasn't upset about that violation per se - as in his mind they did it for their protection. That said, once the ship was destroyed in the simulated attack, that's when things changed.

the Federation violates statutes (like its Prime Directive for example) all the time. Mostly for what their representatives (like Captain Kirk) consider good reasons, but again, that doesn't necessarily always lead to them forcing a soverign world to do anything.

I remember that. I really wish I had picked it up.

The idea was better than the execution (plus it was weirdly expensive). I’ve seen some other Dragon cutaway models that had better detail, the interior of Enterprise seems more like a collection of random tubes and boxes, seems like for $175 they could have included a little finer detail that allowed one to sort of recognize a sickbay complex or engine room for example. However, the warp engine is pretty cool.

Have they done any cutaways of the Discovery? I would be very curious to see how they handle the turbolift funhouse in relation to the other things in the ship.
It really is a cool idea, it just seems like it was thrown in there without a lot of thought about how it actually works in the ship.

There doesn't appear to be anybody in DISCOVERY's production crew that has any interest in that kind of thing.
Unlike Drexler and his ilk.


All the booklets from the Eaglemoss Discovery ships only include previously done production drawings, along with a shot or two of the CGI models included.
Even they haven't put any extra time into adding exclusive newly created artwork.
