News New Star Wars movie being developed by... Kevin Feige?

Hopefully that info will be "Rian Johnson has been submerged in concrete".

You're not funny, so kindly go away.

Says the guy who sings the praises of the X-Men movies.

I give the X-Men films the praise they deserve.

With a few exceptions, the MCU has become a morass of mass-produced generic content that is the cinematic equivalent of cotton candy.

Yeah, that seems like a much better possibility than her being fired from Lucasfilm. If one of his other theories is right and Trinh Tran or Victoria Alonso take over Marvel, that would at least still give those people someone to hate.

Maybe we will get a Star Wars/Marvel cross over. I could see Thor show up. :)
The saddest part is I could almost see this happening. If not the movies, then definitely in the comics. They've already brought Conan the Barbarian into the Marvel Universe in the comics, and I don't really see Star Wars being that much farther off than he is. I doubt they'd make it a permanent part of it, but I could see characters from one universe or the other temporarily crossing over for an event miniseries.

If Star Trek The Next Generation can cross over with the X-Men of all things, then anything can be a part of the marvel universe as long as marvel can get the rights/license.

It would be interesting to see Feige do a SW movie. I'm pretty happy with what we've been getting from SW, movie wise (outside of the intolerable Solo), but he'd definitely do something interesting.

As for Rian Johnson, I thought his SW movie was great, and I'm much more excited for his potential new SW stuff then I am for the rumored movie(s) by the Game of Thrones a-holes.

There was already an "imaginary story" where Indiana Jones finds Han Solo's corpse.

Honestly, though, even with the precedent of Star Trek vs X-Men, I think Star Wars meets Marvel is probably more of a stretch, considering how much the Marvel movies lean on Star Wars as part of the characters' shared cultural identity.

The incel demo hates the movie to the point of reviewbombing it on rottentomatoes.

To be honest I can see how it would be divisive, I mean I didn't know what to think of it myself until I'd seen it a few times but that's also how I felt about ESB back in the day.

I still don't know how to feel about ESB sometimes.

TLJ was easier by comparison.

Then let me help you out. ESB was great. TLJ was shit.

As for Kevin taking over Star Wars, if he brings back Han and Luke, great. If he doesn't, I'm still out.
