I thought it was like 6 months before the premiere.

It bums me out that it felt like there was some traction to have a bit of board reorganization and it ended up going nowhere. I got excited and now I wish I hadn't.

I was thinking about that. It will never happen, but what about a General Trek subforum for Short Treks. It looks like these are going to continue for quite a while and you put them in General Trek because they will cover all eras of the Star Trek universe.

Agreed, it should be under General Trek, or in a Kurtzman-era section if the board gets re-organized.

I know you're being facetious but I wouldn't have a problem with it.

But, more to my point, is the general dickish behavior directed towards the admins about a new Picard forum, when Bonz has stated its a work in process, and that real-life obligations took precedence.

Sorry, but I see no reason to keep hammering home on this point when we have an answer.

Nope. They'll wait until the Picard series is completely over and then simply rename this forum "Past of Trek."

There will never be a "Picard" forum!!

One day we'll wake up and there it will be. It'll be the oddest, least suspecting day that it'll happen.

If TrekBBS still works the way I remember it working way back when, they probably want to change a few other things around too while they unveil the new Picard Forum. It wouldn't be too much of a leap to guess they spent a lot of time trying to hammer out the exact way things would be. And might still be tweaking their plans.

We also have to remember that the board is run in people's spare time. Life has a pesky way of getting in the way of even the most sturdy plans.

If there have been tweaks, I look forward to seeing what they've done.
