Spoilers NEWS FROM NY COMIC CON 2019...

If the Data scenes are just dreams, then any issues with the de-aging can just be waved away as Picard's subconscious fucking with him. We get a lot weirder stuff in our dreams than "my old friend looks a little bloated."

Data's eyes are too yellow. I think the contacts are similar to the ones from TNG, but the yellow parts seem larger and they stick out. The other androids don't seem that have eyes that are as intense.

I'm surprised there was nothing about Lower Decks, since one of the "It's on" posters featured 2 of the animated characters.

Yeah, the Data Dream Sequence can really help to hand-wave away any inconsistencies in his looks.
Most folks memories tend to fade especially after 15 to 20 years.
My dad's been gone since 1983 (he was 64) and I remember him best in my head from a picture I have of him back from WWII in his navy uniform (he was around 20 then).

theyve screwd with his hairpiece digitally, badly

Might just be the lack of film grain.
No, I do some digital work, and there is some nasty manipulation here, watching it frame by frame in HD, there are frames where the parts of the hairline wobble ever so slightly, very subtle, but it's there, at first glance I thought they digitally tried to pull his hairline forward, but you can actually see an original hairline showing beneath the front hair, a rush job or a hack job (probably rush) ad the hairline is unnaturally blurred

Romii appeared on the star chart next to Romulus all the way back in Balance of Terror, I think some places put Romii and Remus as being the same place, but Remus would have presumably been destroyed by the same supernova that wiped out Romulus.

Forget about the finale of DISC S2, what everyone in the Federation REALLY needs to agree on is to never talk about the Remans ever again and pretend they never existed.

Other than Data's hair and I didn't really hear what Seven said (You help those that need help?), I enjoyed the trailer. I kinda still wish we had gotten a little meat on the plot though, and who the new characters are. For example, with all the excitement about Seven and Will returning, who is the Kung Fu guy, or do I just call him Kung Fu guy. I think he was he and Alison Pill's character joking on a ship or something. I would like to get more on these characters. Granted they can't show much in a trailer, but I hope the new cast can share the stage with the returnys and it doesn't feel like they are lost in the limelight.

they need to fix that crap before January

Wow, what a difference with what I’m sure was just a couple of minutes work?

Watching the scene in motion, it actually looks okay in the first few frames as he turns round, but then it’s like his head keeps turning but the hair doesn’t.

well just under a minute on the screenshot, in terms of the footage thats a different story, I'd really like to see what it looks like with ought any digital work on the hair, to see whats there to work with, you'd think that they could have gotten a hairpiece right to begin with, admittedly, hairlace wigs show up quite badly in Digitally shot footage, but this is just a mess, I can only hope what happend was they were in a rush to get this footage in the trailer and used an unfortunately bad job on the hair
