Seems to me some of the Disney Adventure cameos will happen during the Moon people invasion. It sort of like an Infinity War where the moon people attack multiple places

The Wuzzles look badass now!!
It's weird to me that there was a Disney show called The Wuzzles. I created a kind of stick-figure doodle characters called Wuzzles c. 1980 or earlier -- basically a pair of big googly eyes with stick-figure arms and legs extending directly from them, with a smile underneath the eyes and a squiggle of hair on top. Sort of like this (not sure the alignment will work, and the legs should be longer, but this is the best I could do with ASCII):

Some years later, a classmate told me that there was a TV cartoon called Wuzzles, and I think they assumed I'd ripped off the name, but I'd somehow never heard of the show -- plus I'd created my Wuzzles at least 5 years earlier.
Good that this is coming back soon, it's been airing kinda randomly. Start episodes, but only show a couple and then take a long break. And then couple more, break. Then dump like 4 of them in a weekend and call it a season. But with only a couple month break to new season.

That kind of erratic scheduling has been pretty normal for kid-oriented cable networks for decades now. I remember shows on Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon having similarly bizarre release schedules.
I read once that kids have more tolerance for watching the same episodes over and over, so networks don't see as much need to release new episodes regularly. When I was a kid, that manifested through Saturday morning shows tending to have very short second or later seasons, adding just a handful of new episodes to the endless cycle of reruns (which is why Star Trek: TAS's second season was only 6 episodes, pretty typical for the day). These days, I think it manifests through cable networks having these intermittent release schedules for kids' shows, with these huge long gaps between new episodes. If kids are more likely to keep watching the same episodes over and over, then they won't go away when there are reruns, and so you can release new episodes at any time and the audience will still be there. At least, that's my hypothesis for why they do that.
You'd think at least when they have new episodes, though, that they wouldn't burn them off in a long weekend. You'd think they'd at least space them out weekly until done, and then back to reruns? Rgr the longer breaks and more reruns, but the 'dump all the new ones quickly' model didn't make a lot of sense. You wouldn't think it would help with advertising dollars either, although maybe they figure kids are going to watch regardless, so what's the difference?
We live in an age of binge-watching. Network TV is trying to adapt.
On second thought, though, it's not so different from how the original DuckTales and contemporary shows were released in the '80s. They aired in daytime syndication, 5 days a week, and new episodes would tend to come out all at once, burned through in a couple of weeks or so and then added to the usual rerun cycle. That's how DT's third season of 18 episodes was released, mostly -- and its 10-episode second season was debuted as two full-length movies before being added to the rerun cycle as individual episodes.

Lol, dropping first new episode in a while on a Tuesday, likely the first day of school for many kids. Hasn't it normally be a Saturday morning drop?
I get what Christopher is saying, but just highlighting how totally RANDOM and unplanned this schedule seems to be. Like they are finding episodes under the couch occasionally and just tossing them over the fence whenever one is found. Or sometimes they find a couple and they go out all at once.

This is the second time this year that they've burned off a whole run of DuckTales and Big Hero 6: The Series episodes over two weeks' worth of weekday afternoons (presumably they skipped yesterday because it was a holiday). The original DuckTales was a Disney Afternoon show, after all. The new episodes are at 3-4 PM, which should be late enough for many kids to be home from school, and everyone has DVRs these days anyway.

Good to finally check-in on Donald and what he's been up to since his accidental disappearance (although, if you look too closely, the timelines don't sync up but whatever). In addition to Donald's wacky adventures on the Moon, we also get Dewey and Webby getting mystery restless and, based on a sound clue, decide to investigate Donald's absence. Unfortunately, the two got rather sidetracked and ended up talking themselves out the of the mystery. But just in time...
A mostly silly episode but I did like how the episode not only connected to the two storylines with Donald's absence but also with Donald's longtime, renowned anger issues. Pity that such anger caused him to be unintelligible to Scrooge after a whole episode of actually be understandable (I only needed the captions for that message).

The Goldie and Louie con artist team-up was fun to watch, even if it played out in a predictable way. The best part was the interactions between the two as they con their way through Doofus' ridiculous birthday party and then rescuing each other from Doofus' madness. The Della and Huey video game experience was less palpable but at least it served as a bonding experience between the two.
Today's episode, however, was fantastic on every level. Lena remains my favorite addition to the new series, although Violet is a close second, so it's great to see both of them return for a surreal adventure in a dreamworld along with Webby and the triplets. Each one gets a surface level look at their psyche while the focus remains on Lena trying to escape her deepest fears: Becoming Magica's pawn once again. But just like Magica's last two appearances, the power of Lena's new friendships overcomes Magica's meddling. It was especially fun to watch the reveal that Magica is rundown without her powers that Lena now possesses and is forced to rely on technology that fails her once it becomes clear what she's up to. My only complaint about the episode is not getting a Tennant and Tate interaction, but at least we got a sly Doctor Who reference with Violet's dream in a library (shhh!).

The previous two episodes were mediocre (I respect Tuesday's episode for trying to recapture the physical comedy of classic Donald Duck cartoons, but I never much liked classic Donald Duck cartoons), but this one was fantastic. While this show struggles to characterize the nephews in a consistent or interesting way, it does great work with Webby and Lena and the psychological complexity and emotional depth of their story arc. I wish the whole show could be this good.
Interesting, by the way, that Dewey's nebulous, undefined future romantic interest was voiced as simultaneously male and female.

Another silly adventure today, this time with the Beagle Boys, which is always fun with Margo Martindale as Ma. I liked how Coot's secret treasure turned out to be just gold, thus bursting everyone's bubble. The side plot with Della and Launchpad was nice, too, and I liked how she eventually discovered his worth in crashing. I hope to see more of that pairing in the future.
