Yeah, that's true. I knew there was another mention somewhere but I couldn't remember where and with whom. You'd think they would've thought about the implications of that situation further. Oh, well.
And what if they had somehow divined the Soul Stone’s rules before going to get it? What could they have done differently? Somebody beloved had to die so that half the universe could live. There’s no way of getting around that.

So, if someone asked Luis how his van got destroyed, would he begin the story with the big bang and the creation of the Infinity Stones?
Apparently there was a video made of Luis recounting the infinity saga.
Would love to see it released as an extra one day.Or a youtube leak.

Sorry. Must be the meds I'm on.

I hear ya brother.

I just watched it and I’m still digesting, but what was Thanos’s sword thing made from that it made such short work of a vibranium shield? Adamantium?

And how did Thanos snap his fingers if he was dead?

I need to watch it again, but on my first viewing, it seemed riddled with plot holes.

Vibranium is the strongest metal known on Earth, but even it is not native to Earth. It is possible that Thanos sword was made of vibranium as well or even something stronger.

And the Thanos from the past was from an alternate reality, and not the same Thanos who snaps his fingers in the previous movie.

Yes, watch it again.

I went back to the theater for the re-release. I almost never see a movie in the theater more than once, but this one required the full experience.

I'm too lazy to look it up but there is an interview out there with the Russos who say that Thanos' sword is indeed made of a material stronger than Vibranium.
