Are there any particular Trek storylines that you really wish had been revisited?
Of course, there are the TNG "Conspiracy" aliens which were unceremoniously dropped in favor of the Borg.

How about the computer "puppy" from DS9 "The Forsaken?" Did O'Brien forget all about it and leave it trapped in that virtual "doghouse" when he left to become an instructor at Starfleet Academy?

And then there were the flaky Skrreans, who dejectedly hung their heads and went off to a planet they didn't actually want to colonize, with the episode kind of fizzling out at the end. How did things go for the Skrreans on Draylon II?

We can't forget the imitative Iotians who got a specimen of Federation technology, at the end of TOS "A Piece of the Action."

Any others you can think of? Any characters, ships, civilizations, etc. that make you wonder, "What ever happened to so-and-so?"

Braga said in a Q&A that the baby was transferred to its people off-screen.

Moriarty stands out for me. Plus there’s poor Thomas Riker stuck in prison.

One of the original ideas for DS9’s 30th anniversary episode was to revisit the Iotians.

Doesn't count unless we saw it.

Just about any of TOS' parallel Earths. Did the Yangs every implement the constitution, or did they go ahead with the extermination of the Comms?

The Dragon's Teeth aliens on Voyager were set up as a potentially returning threat who with their subspace corridors could follow Voyager wherever. Only they didn't.

Jason Alexander's character said he and his group cured the Vidiian phage. Would've been nice to revisit them as a cured people, along with the Doc's old love interest.

And what happened to that think tank.

Did Opaka succeed in getting those people to stop fighting?

I would have liked to see Goran'agar again.

Kahless... is he really succeeding in getting Klingons back on an honorable path?

My head canon has O'Brien releasing the hound right before the Cardassians/Dominion took over the station. I was honestly expecting this to be mentioned in dialog and so disappointed it wasn't.

My idea for a DS-9 movie involves T. Riker and Ro returning as Manchurian candidate style antagonists.

This isn't something I've ever cared to see revisited, but TNG's season 5 idea of there being a warp speed limit was quickly dropped and hardly ever referred to again. I think the writers quickly realized how impractical the idea was for future stories and just decided to forget about it.

Perhaps Starfleet had a team of top experts deal with the problem, and they made short work of it. Something like this...

That was the main reason (other than looking cool) that Voyager's warp nacelles were moved up to enter warp.

Wasn't the issue supposed to be that too much warp speed was damaging the fabric of space itself? I don't understand how moving the nacelles up a few feet is supposed to help.

I’ve been thinking about that as “If I ever wrote fanfic” idea for a while. The Vidians trying to rebuild their great society but having to deal with consequences of how they lived for centuries. Like, maybe there’s a big debate about reparations, others saying that they shouldn’t feel bad because it kept them all alive. And maybe they try to share their medical technology but nobody forgives them, there’s terrorism against them from families of aliens they harvested, etc.

Also they should have followed up on the Equinox crew.
