Didn't find any threads about IASIP less than five years old, so I thought I'd start a new one.

I have known about this show for a while thanks to the various YouTube clips that people post here and there but I never watched it properly until the last couple of weeks when I discovered it's all on Netflix. Been working from home a bit lately due to a health issue and been bingeing while tapping away, and can I just say, it may be the funniest thing I've seen on a TV in years.

I am not the sort of person who laughs out loud when alone usually. But Sunny is making me do this every episode. I've got through six seasons! I can't switch it off! I think Dennis Reynolds may be my new sociopathic role model.

Anyone else a fan? I regret not giving it some time before!

Yeah, high on my watchlist, along with Letterkenny, but I'm also a few seasons behind with Curb Your Enthusiasm which has always struck me as having a similar tone.

I absolutely love this show. Some of my favorite episodes are The Nightman Cometh, The Gang Solves the Gas Crisis, Mac is a Serial Killer, and Hundred Dollar Baby. Also, any episode where Charlie is mastermind of some plot or trying to unravel a conspiracy is bound to be hilarious.

Definitely watch Trailer Park Boys. Also, if you're a fan of shows where most of the characters are horrible people, check out Archer.

I may have laughed harder at two moments on that show than at anything else on TV in my life. One, when Frank "emerges" on the Christmas episode, and Charlie's wedgie on the one with the class reunion.

It's a great series. To me it's like Seinfeld taken even further. On Seinfeld, nobody was a good person, but they knew it, once in a while felt a little bad about it, and tried to put on a better image. On Sunny, they're just awful and have no clue.

I'm still bingeing, polished off S9 last night. I gotta say, S8 and S9 have possibly been the funniest yet. The Gang Recycles Their Trash (S8), The Maureen Ponderosa Wedding Massacre (S8), Mac Day (S9), The Gang Saves the Day (S9) all had me in stitches over and over.

Favourites from the earlier seasons so far include Dennis and Dee Go on Welfare (S2), The Gang Gets Whacked (S3), The Gang Goes to the Jersey Shore (S7), The High School Reunion (S7).

    On to Season 10...

I frigging LOVE the Frank in the couch scene  In fact, the Christmas episode is played at my house every Christmas and it never gets old. I especially love when Charlie confronts Santa at the mall

Oh yeah, when you get done be sure to watch Corner Gas. The original, before the animated. :techman:
