The Least Disliked Regular Star Trek Character

He's debateably more developed, but the show always (somewhat weirdly) kept Jake on their series regular roster and Nog in with the recurrings. I always felt the classification barrier there was clear, if strangely expressed sometimes on the show itself.
Given how completely the writers lost interest in Jake for seasons 6 & 7, I always did wonder what would have happened if they swapped Nog or Garak into his series regular slot...
(Though I would have preferred they just maintained interest in Jake and used him more in the final two years)
And I have to ax Quark -- so much great about him, but he just brought us too many terrible episodes as well. And, similarly to Georgiou, the show is amused by him on too many occasions when it should have been repelled.

-Theme Songs
-Ships
-Ferengi Episodes(There's probably a lot)
-1-off Romance episodes, like "Lessons," The one with Ben Sisko and "Fenna," or the one with Janeway and the guy who keeps searching her ship. There's probably tons of one-off romance episodes.
That means we exclude the many characters that appear only twice (which I am fine with) like the mutants (Bashir's unfortunate analogs) or Kira's Cardassian father (you know who I mean)...
"Ferengi" eps was one of the first lists I ran, back in May -- "Family Business" won. But I'll run it again at some point.
Romance Of The Week is next up, been working on that one for a bit! I'll post that sometime this week, it's almost finalized.
Comedy Eps is something I thought about as well, I like that idea...
No offense but I wouldn't do any of these. The "comedy episodes" are a matter of opinion, the theme songs??? What??? There's like five of them!! The Ships, they kinda look alike. The Ferengi episodes are fewer than ten.
Does that include the episodes who have comedic parts in them without being comedic per se? Like "Change Of Heart" for example?
There were 27 Ferengi episodes on that list.
Not sure yet -- I take a first pass, see how long that is, then we tinker around with the parameters till it feels like the right length for one of these and I feel confident we're not forgetting any. For some of these previous lists, that was one of the parameters ("Just B stories don't count"), but I don't recall which one(s)...
