Why Can't Klingon Blood Be Purple Again?

When Soran struck B'Etor, her blood seemed about the same color as human blood.

Yeah, I know, the only time ever when we see that pink blood is in the movie.
Minor spoiler...
...but we saw it in the background on DSC Season 2, too...in the same shot as red Klingon blood. Alien diversity?

I never noticed that. Which episode?

I think it was...
...when Georgiou came through the wall and zapped a bunch of Klingons to save the Chancellor and Tyler. In the splashes of blood, multiple colors could be identified.

I'll be sure to look for it the next time I watch that episode.

Pity it wasn't ultraviolet, requiring a special flashlight to see. Now that would open up a lot of plot possibilities! :D

Klingons have two types of blood, one pink, one red.

...because they have to have 2.
